Ours is a romantic 200-year-old architectural wonder built for one of San Juan's earliest rum barons and remains one of the most beautiful properties in the old city. It features soaring, 18-foot ceilings, cathedral-style acoustics, marble floors and Moroccan tiles. Surround yourself with simple beauty, bathe in a gigantic Roman bath, cook in an inspirational kitchen and listen to the coqui frogs in your private courtyard.

Way better than expected

Staying here was a highlight of our trip. The location was insanely good, and the building feels palatial with gorgeous high ceilings and well decorated and furnished rooms. Everyone loved it and we would absolutely come again. Bear in mind that it is a genuine historic building so there are only two bathrooms and it’s hard to run multiple faucets / showers at once. That wasn’t a problem for us, and we had a great time. Jon was a super communicative and great host.

Coolest Place I Have Ever Stayed

From the photos I know I was going to like this place. My parents love historical buildings so I decided to rent this as a surprise for the last few days of our large family vacation. We were all stunned at how amazing this place was! To experience the history of this amazing town all while having spectacular accommodations, was truly a treat me and my family will never forget. I would 1000% stay here again if I visit old town San Juan again! Don't miss your chance, you won't regret it.

This is an incredible property! Soaring ceilings on both levels. Rooftop patio. Right in the middle of old San Juan. Walkable to everything. Easy direct communication via text. Very cool place to stay!

Wonderful property in best location! So true! Historical building, perfect mix of victorian and modern furniture, comfortable rooms decorated with fun sculptures and decorative pieces; all together make our stay unforgettable. Highly recommended.

Amazing stay!

This place is just awesome! A great Old San Juan experience. Great place to stay with friends. A lot of space- and great ammenities such as roof top, balcony, multiple common areas. Right in the heart of Old SJU as well for convenience. Highly recommend this place!
