This unique place by the beach has a style all its own. New construction house designed to relax and entertain your family and friends. A perfect destination to enjoy outdoor living, ocean sports and mountain escape. Located on a very spacious lot this 5 bedrooms / 4 bathrooms listing splits in 2 units: First unit is a 2 story home with 4 bed. / 3 bath., 2 covered terraces and stunning roof terrace with ocean and night sky view. Second unit is a fully independent “guest house casita” with private terrace. Great amenities to make your stay enjoyable: big private pool, Gazebo/BBQ area, volleyball net, kayaks, paddle board, sprawling yard , free private parking, power back up generator and water cistern back up on site, and direct access to “Las Picuas” beach and lagoon. Perfect place to work from home remotely as well. Casino, bars, and golf at the Wyndham Rio Mar Resort few minutes drive. Great restaurants close by.

Property was really great. Nice pool and grill area. There's an ocean view from the porch off of the kitchen. The beach is extremely close. We took the property's kayaks and paddle boards out on the ocean multiple days. We had a fantastic time!

We had a fantastic family reunion (11 of us) at this nice property - Picuas Mar. Just a note regarding layout - as you see the number of bedrooms/bathrooms, it helps to know when planning that the out building has a queen bed with bathroom, the downstairs quarters are two separate bedrooms with queen beds and bathrooms, and the upstairs has only one bathroom for the queen room and bunk room to share, so put kids/family together in that area. The upstairs indoor living space was perfect for prepping and eating, but the best part is the outdoor space. The covered dining outside with the grill right next to the pool - ideal. And the beach is a few yards through the gate, through the mangrove tunnel. Beautiful place. We had a fantastic visit - I highly recommend.

Great Tropical Compound Near Everything

Picked this property because my group had 9 and we all wanted private bedrooms with enough bathrooms. This property did not disappoint. The cabana in the rear of the property was small but perfect for a couple. Big enough to get a break from each other and great outdoors spaces to be together. The rooftop patio was wonderful day and night. Pool was wonderful and this location! The property is a stones throw from the beach, literally steps from the property door. It’s also close to all the tourist attractions on the north East end of the island. Fajardo marina with a slew of boating excursions to nearby islands, Playa Azul and Luquillo Beach and El Yunque rainforest. The only negative is that there is not a real big area to gather indoors for a large group but the outdoor space is more than adequate.

Best Family Getaway

Amazing week at this beautiful house! This was our first Vrbo stay, five years in the planning and it exceeded our expectations with a great location, very safe neighborhood and steps from a coral reef protected beach. Layout of the home and fenced-in yard was ideal for our group of 9, ages 4-66 and we all rate this at a 10 (especially our 4 yo granddaughter who loved the pool). The photos represent exactly what we had upon arrival. Perfect place if you’re wanting a quiet stay away from crowds and noise with a location 10 minutes from the main road but not so far from grocery store and Luquillo Beach.

Slice of Heaven

Our stay at this house was perfect for our group. We were two families, with four adults and three kids, and the space was ideal for everyone to have their own privacy. The house was not only spacious but also beautifully maintained and spotlessly clean. We made the most of the nearby beach, spending hours exploring the water with the paddleboard and kayak. Chris, our host, was incredibly accommodating, providing excellent recommendations for local activities and dining options. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and can’t wait to return!

We had a wonderful stay with lots of room for 10 of us. The grounds and house were beautiful with plenty of amenities. Everyone enjoyed the pool after being out touring all day. Make sure you have a rental car so you can enjoy El Yunque and Luquillo.

Wonderful stay at Picuas Mar!

We had an excellent stay at Christophe's property, Picuas Mar. There were 6 of us traveling -- 4 adults and 2 kids. We all had plenty of room for sleeping and hanging out. The Caribbean style property of separate locked areas was new to us, but nothing we couldn't handle with the keys the owner gave us to use. The house was clean and stocked pretty well for what we needed during our stay. We enjoyed the local beaches to the house, but spent a lot of our time exploring lots of different beaches, too. The owner gave us plenty of beach options as well as other nearby things to do/see. My husband got sick a few days in and Christophe even called a clinic for us to see if my husband could be seen, which was super kind of him. The pool and backyard area were amazing, and we used it every day. The pool is literally picture perfect in the afternoons - 3/4 in the shade and an ideal temp...perfect for post-beach relaxing before getting ready for dinner. We didn't need to bring beach towels from PA because Christophe had probably 10 there! We had a great vacation; thank you for hosting us!
