“It was our first time in Tamarindo and we couldn't have picked a better place to stay. This was a very central location in the middle of all the action. Beach is a couple minutes walk. Clean place great breakfast included and their cafe is was amazing as well. Would definitely recommend this if you're looking for a centralized place with loads of action. ”

“Beautiful water feature / pool, the casitas are modern, clean and comfortable overall, and there’s an open shared dining area.
That said, for the price, the property needs some work.
We were told that we couldn’t use the open kitchen area at all (even to microwave our own food for a minute) because “it won’t be fair to other guests,” even though it wasn’t being used at all in the evening.
Oddly, our upgraded “Garden View” didn’t have a garden view at all; there was essentially a bush in……

“We can’t say enough about how wonderful our time at The Beach Bungalows was. As a young couple traveling to Costa Rica from the US who wanted access to the beach and night life, this was the perfect spot for us. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the poolside day bed space under the Bungalows was one of our favorites! There was a safe in the room and the Bungalows locked and offered perfect security. The location was walkable to the beach and restaurants, but was set back enough……
