Solmaré Stays | San Luis Obispo

A serene and stylish 600 sq ft vacation rental located in the highly desirable Monterey Heights neighborhood of San Luis Obispo. Just a short walk to Cal Poly and minutes from downtown, this private unit offers a separate entrance, spacious living and bedroom areas, and a well-equipped kitchenette. With dedicated guest parking and a quiet residential setting, it’s an ideal home base for campus visits or Central Coast getaways. Though part of a private home, the unit is fully private and quiet.

This is a brand new listing in a newly renovated unit. We're in the process of scheduling professional photography and final staging, but the space is fully ready for guests and thoughtfully prepared for a comfortable stay.

Bedroom:
Features a luxurious Cal King bed with plush linens and ample closet space.
Completely separate from the living room for a restful, private sleeping area.

Living Room:
Formerly the home’s master bedroom, now a spacious and comfortable living area.
Includes a fold-out couch for additional sleeping (ideal for a child or third guest).
Flat-screen Smart TV, fast Wi-Fi, and relaxed seating.

Kitchenette:
Under-counter refrigerator
Sink and counter space for food prep
Microwave, coffee maker, toaster
Dishware, mugs, and utensils
Note: No stove or cooktop in compliance with city regulations

Bathroom:
Full bathroom with shower/tub combo
Stocked with fresh towels, hairdryer, and essential toiletries

Private Entrance:
Guests access the unit through its own entrance, providing total privacy from the main house.

Layout:
Originally a wing of the home, now fully converted into a self-contained suite with no shared interior spaces.
Sound-attenuated hallway with lockable double doors separates the vacation unit from the main home.
The only common wall is between a bathroom in the unit and the main house’s entry foyer.

I really loved this quiet little bungalow. Super clean and simple and had everything I needed. Was perfect for just me or would be good for a couple. Very close to Calpoly campus. Extremely quiet street and comfortable mattress.
