"The breakfast menu was ample, fresh, well stocked, and very clean. The serving utensils were clean and easy to find. The food was well seasoned and delicious! "

"My stay was horrible; the 1st room had a broken lock so it didn’t work. I went to get a different room and that room, which she said was just cleaned, had a clogged toilet full of poop. So I got a 3rd room and that one had pools of water all over the floor. They didn’t even comp my room or make an effort to remedy the horrible experience. I will never be returning to this location. "

"Staff at checkin very RUDE, acted like we were bothering them... Poor cust. service. If it was earlier we would have left. The poor customer service makes it so we wont go back... Room smelled like cigarettes ( tho it was non-smoking) .. and the tv stand looked like it had dried or stained blood on it... "

"Things were fairly clean but for $260, the place was very run down. There was dirt and grime stuck around the sides of the bed and inside the fridge (freezer part) there was some sort of mold growing. It’s clear there hasn’t been any upkeep in some time. The front desk staff was fine, but when he gave me the keys, the paper holder he put them in was stained and had clearly been used before. For the price I paid, it was a huge disappointment."

"This hotel is trashed and falling apart. The lady at the front desk was nice, but overall the property is in very poor condition. The room was gross, the elevator was terrifying and the smell was awful. We left without staying the night. "

"I stayed in room 138, it was humid in the room the entire time I was there. The plug situation left a lot to the imagination, you had to leave certain light switches on in order for the refrigerator to work as well as the plug in the bathroom area. The mattresses were lumpy. I did feel safe and the front office staff was very courteous. Had I not been as tired as I was at the end of my day in San Marcos I might have switched hotels. I will say, after a day at the river, this might have been a fine accommodation for a group of friends, but for 2 older ladies, it left a lot to be desired."

"They were so rude when I arrived. There was a problem with checkin, and I had to talk to a manager to resolve it. I have never been spoken to so dismissively and rudely. When I got to my room, it was disgustingly dirty, and smelled like mold. The pool was out of commission. The ac was stuck on and wouldn’t turn off, it was a cold weekend. I requested maintenance come look, they never did. It was so cold in the room. There’s a little pantry where you can buy snacks, when I bought them there, the staff never even looked up from their phone to ring me up. The day before I checked out, I requested and paid for a late check out at 12:30 rather than 11am because I had a zoom meeting that I wanted to take in the room. I confirmed it with the front desk two times, once the morning before check out, and once the evening before check out. Housekeeping started banging on the door at 11am. I informed them of my approved late check out. They knocked again at 11:15, 11:30, and noon. I rescheduled the meeting and just left. I would not stay there again."
