「This property is advertised as a two bedroom two bath. It is not true.When you get is a one bedroom, one bath with a bedroom being on the second floor in the bath on the first floor and a very, very tight dangerous spiral stairs between the downstairs and the bedroom upstairs. Turns out they say a second bed and bath is in a shack on the property that is now being used for storage. Regarding the property that you do get, the second floor bedroom is wood flooring that pops and creeks tremendously...

「Overall extremely poor. Construction littered the property, loud bangs and tools served as an alarm clock at 6am until the afternoon. Check in took long as the Vrbo listing address takes you very far from where the house actually is and communication proved to be difficult as well. Also lack of direction with garbage leading to a strong odor」

「It is set out as a Luxury apartment but can't really qualify as such. It is nice, but quite noisy as it is right next to a restaurant with live music. Also quite smelly from all the restaurants' grey water just flowing into the lake outside the windows. The bathroom is also very damp with mold on the walls. Everything else was good though, and the hosts were very responsive.」

「We loved this place. The views are incredible. The owner was in touch and made sure that everything ran smoothly with the caretaker. All the rooms on the top floor open onto a beautiful deck that looks out at the volcano. Santa Cruz is a very small village on the side of the mountain, but no problem if you don't want to walk up, you can go to the lake and walk along the shore to the tuktuks and the pier for water taxis.
