「Host was very accommodating and kind. Room and surroundings were extremely clean and spacious. While the room just has a fridge and kettle, we also had access to a communal area for breakfast and simple meals (microwave, toaster oven, and dishes (no cookware). 「Lovely history to the building we stayed in of which part of which was the hotel. Felt very safe. Luca, the host was great and made us feel very welcome. Very easy walking access to all the local shops and restaurants including the marinas and ports. The private garden was very tranquil. The pool looked stunning but the water was quite cold so not the best for a leisurely swim. No hesitation in recommending this as a place to stay in Sorrento. Felt very safe 」

「Get the room with the view, fabulous view, and a big terrace. Good breakfast room, and was an easy walk to downtown. I thought the walk back was going to be a little hard, but was easy. Very relaxing atmosphere, and nice and quiet at night. I would recommend as a place to stay. There was a parking lot within 25 metres.」

「Very convenient location to the train station, grocery stores, cafes and restaurants. We were able to get to all our destinations very easily (Pompei, Sorrento, Amalfi and Positano). Our host Francesco was very helpful in answering all our questions. Town feels very safe. Building entrance is run down but the actual flat is quite nice. Only thing missing is an iron for clothes. 「Room was very clean and nice. Same for bathroom. We had to walk from station to the location with luggages, couldn’t find any Taxis or Uber… problem in Salerno no taxis even on our way back. BlueMare very nice and right on the beach but overall Salerno is not made for tourists.」
