This authentic Logis 16th, charming and bright, house enjoying all the necessary comfort, can accommodate 5 guests. You will find a kitchen, a dining area and lounge on the ground floor. A suite with private bathroom is on the 1st floor, a second suite awaits you on the upper floor. Towels and bed linen are provided free of charge.

Best VRBO rental I've ever had
This place is exceptional just like all of the other reviews have indicated. I can't offer anything else that hasn't already been said. We use VRBO frequently and this was the best experience we've ever had.
In terms of notes, there's a spiral staircase that's charming and unique, but may also be challenging depending on your dexterity. Doorways are authentic, so if you're over 5' 4", you'll quickly learn to "bow your head"!

Perfect location to enjoy Sancerre
The home is beautiful, delightful and perfectly located to enjoy all there is to do in Sancerre and around the area.

Perfect Stay
The only thing better than drinking a wonderful Sancerre wine in the lovely village of Sancerre was perhaps staying in this stunning, beautifully restored apartment in the center of town. Finding a parking place for our car was the only challenge and once you realize there is plenty of parking just down along the edge of town we settled in and enjoyed our stay. What a great beginning to our trip!

Comfortable shabby chic!
We were attending Cours de France. Sainte Pere was just steps away. Very convenient. The 1st floor bedroom was huge and comfortable. The shower was terrific. 2nd floor was also charming and had a big bathroom. We wished the light in the kitchen was brighter.
The stairs and low doors were rather treacherous but if you are in good shape you’ll be fine. It IS an old house after all. We are older and tall so we had to move slowly, but we got used to it. We had trouble finding the instructions for appliances but Alice always got right back to my texts. Nice place to stay!

Lovely home in Sancerre
This home is beautiful. The living room and kitchen are very comfortable and the kitchen is very well equipped for cooking.
the bedrooms are huge and the beds are very comfortable, The bathrooms are exquisite . the showers are huge with every amenity provided in the bathroom.
The host is very easy to communicate with and the location is central to town. Lots of restaurants and bars and shopping within walking distance.
Would happily stay here again. Don’t miss the opportunity to enjoy this home if you are in the area.

Lovely Sancerre Hideaway
This is a gem of a building right off the town hall square in Sancerre. Lovely living/kitchen area and 2 bedrooms and baths. Well-stocked kitchen. Not a good place to stay if you don't like climbing up and down a narrow stone spiral staircase, but this made it even more "sympathique" and lovely for us. Our host couldn't have been nicer. She didn't speak English well but could communicate fine via text. I speak high school French, so we found a great intersection. She provided wonderful recommendations on what to do and where to eat. There is a fancier, more modern hotel along the river, but we far preferred the character and space of this place.

A wonderful Experience
My wife and I had a big surprise upon entering this property. It was better that we could have hoped for. There was a fully equipped kitchen and the bedrooms we spacious, super clean and the living area was open and lovely. We would definitely recommend this apartment and will return.
