"The location is 20 mins close to Blackwater fall state park. the facility is clean, room is spacious, bed linens are clean. Just hope to have protein options for the breakfast."

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Blackwater Glade was exactly as advertised and provided the perfect fall getaway! The property is ideally located near so many beautiful natural areas, making it a great home base for exploring the outdoors. The house itself is wonderfully secluded, surrounded by beautiful woods, and we especially enjoyed the walking paths on the property. Everything was exceptionally clean, and the home was more thoughtfully stocked and better equipped than any other rental we’ve stayed in. Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would absolutely love to return in the future!"

"Property was surrounded by woods and quiet. There was a nice little pond there that we enjoyed watching deer feed around. The cabin was clean and well stocked. We were fascinated by the decorations through out the cabin. Everyone commented on how comfortable the beds were. Also enjoyed the deck and fire pit. Would recommend this property to others."

"Fabulous location near fantastic hiking trails! And terrific outdoor space with plenty of room to walk and explore on the property. Comfortable furniture and overall a lovely option for smaller groups, (no great indoor dining option for more than a couple people)."

"We had a fantastic stay! The property was a wonderful fit for our family of three. It was exceptionally toddler-friendly, featuring a high chair, a private playground, art supplies that kept our little one entertained. We also really loved that the space had no interior stairs, making it very easy to navigate.The outdoor space was a major highlight - we loved being able to walk straight to nearby trails, and the hot tub and fire pit were wonderful in the evenings. Even in August, the weather was wonderfully cool and comfortable with very few mosquitoes.A few minor notes for future guests or the host:- There was some residual pet hair left behind, but given that it’s a pet-friendly rental, it was entirely manageable and to be expected.- The kitchen was mostly well-equipped, though it was missing a few handy baking and prep tools like a veggie peeler, rolling pin, and cheese grater.Overall, we had a relaxing, memorable stay and would gladly return!"
