「My room was disappointing. The en-suite was smelly and the windowless room had no functional ventilation fan. It did not help that the main room window could not be opened. Overhead lighting in the en-suite was hanging loose from the ceiling and the flooring around the (recently?) replaced sink had not been replaced and didn't fit.
The bed was OK but something in the linen caused throat irritation which prevented much sleep and the TV was so pixellated it was useless. Hot drink supplies were...

「It’s an old property- if you love quirky you’ll love it. If you want pristine, you won’t.
Food was fantastic for dinner and breakfast. Spent time talking to the owners who are fantastic people- including the son as chef.
If character and informal brilliance are your thing go. If not don’t.
