Dream destination for outdoor enthusiasts, just steps away from Lake Pend Oreille! Mountain Bluebird Lakehouse comfortably sleeps up to six guests, with one bedroom, one bath, and large loft serving as a second bedroom. There is also a fully set up desk workspace with monitor, keyboard and mouse (plus lightning fast fiber internet), perfect for working remote! Just five minutes to Sandpoint, fifteen minutes to the Schweitzer Shuttle Parking area, and thirty minutes to Schweitzer Mountain Village. Dover Bay boasts miles of trails through nature preserves, parks and playgrounds, a community beach, boat launch, and DISH restaurant.

The host was welcoming and easy to work with. This is a cute, fully functional cabin near Sandpoint and easy drive to Mt. Schweitzer. It's in a quiet vacation/residential area near the lake. There's also a good restaurant at the marina, a 5 minute walk from the house. We would definitely rent this house again.

It was an amazing family trip with our dog. We have been impressed with pretty much everything: very well designed and maintained, cozy house fully equipped with everything we needed, a very quiet neighborhood on a beautiful lakeshore, a network of wooded hiking trails nearby and many other North Idaho scenic areas within short driving distance. Many thanks to the host for easy communication and detailed instructions in advance of our stay. We will definitely consider Mountain Bluebird Lakehouse again.

This was the perfect place for a couple and a dog to stay. The cabin was super clean and nice, the location was top notch too! The Dover bay area had beautiful trails all over for walking the dog (poo bag stations and cans everywhere too) - super dog friendly! Easy walk to the the lake with a swimming area and the Dish restaurant was great too. Overall, this cabin exceeded our expectations in every way - thanks!

Great little cabin

This cabin is the perfect spot to enjoy the beauty of Dover. The cabin was clean and cozy. We had everything we needed. We loved the spacious loft, and the front porch. The cabin is is a very cute community. There are walking trails to the lake. Standpoint is just a few minutes down the road, so you have access to all the amenities of town. We would definitely stay here again.

Great stay

Very sweet cabin great for the two of us (and a friend who joined us two nights). Comfy beds, well-equipped kitchen, all the necessaries. Even though we were there to ski, we enjoyed being by the lake (our dog loved the walks). Amelia was easy to reach to take care of some minor questions. Would come again.

Super cute cabin

This place was super clean and surprisingly roomy. Beds were super comfortable. The gas fireplace was a super nice feature since it was minus 4 degrees F outside. The host was very responsive to all our questions.

Perfect Lake Pend Oreille stay

I loved everything about this cottage from the sumptuous bedding to the Adirondack chairs on the porch. My only recommendation would be to secure the headboard to the bedframe in the downstairs bedroom to keep it from knocking. Otherwise, a wonderful stay.

Relaxing and Quiet Cottage Stay

This cute cottage was perfectly situated within walking distance to the water for paddle boarding and swimming. It was easy to access the bike path that took us from Dover to Sandpoint, where we visited the Saturday morning Farmer's Market. The cottage was clean and well equipped with linens and cookware. The loft was roomy, and overall the cottage was quiet and comfy. The owner was always quick to respond to any questions that we had. We would highly recommend this cottage for anyone visiting Dover and Sandpoint.
