I was impressed with the attention to details (TV, appliances, linens, towles, etc.). The large main area (open concept) was perfect for our family. This was a perfect spot. Being so close to the water was wonderful. The views every morning were beautiful. The beach was nice and since it was private, not crowded. The weather does play a part in how calm or choppy the water is. My family loves to swim so a few days of the trip, it was not really fun for swimming. That was okay because we just found other spots to adventure. Overall, this is a lovely and homey spot. The owner was wonderful and so responsive and kind. We highly recommend.

Perfect Location

We stayed here for 3 nights and went to Cedar Point for 2 days. The house is very close to the park, walking distance to the lake and community beach, a playground is right across the street and there's extra wide sidewalks right in front of the patio. It was nice to sit out on the front patio and sip some coffee while listening to the water. House was stocked with a lot of extra things, plenty of towels and blankets. We had a great time!

The house was very clean, check-in was easy due to the excellent instructions of the host, and the house was stocked with all kinds of things to make our stay comfortable. In the kitchen, there were spices, oils etc. The kitchen had plenty of dishes, cooking utensils, pots and pans. The house had beach towels, extra towels and more to make the stay a breeze. Very appreciative of all the extras and details. We had five adults. All were comfortable, and there was plenty of space in the kitchen, dining room, and living room for all of us. The front porch was a very nice bonus. Loved reading out there or having coffee. The park across the street was a very nice amenity to enjoy during our stay. We didn't need the host but did communicate our departure and she was quickly responsive. Excellent choice.

The house was good size. There were only 3 of us this trip, all adults. The house had a good amount of space. We will keep it in mind for a larger family group when we come again.

Wonderful Trip

The house was as advertised. The location was wonderful...between Marblehead/Port Clinton and Cleveland. And the park next to the house was very nice. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets over the lake. And great communication from the host.

Fishing trip

Perfect location & well stocked!

We were staying on Rye Beach & rented this house to accommodate additional family members. Gretchen had very detailed, helpful instructions and was extremely responsive. The house was comfortable and had everything we needed! The location was amazing looking over the park & Lake Erie. We will definately rent this house again!
