“I booked my rooms through Expedia, which the front desk pointed out to me twice as explanation as to why I was given 2 terrible rooms. They were 2 levels below the lobby and only accessible by stairs. The rooms were old and musty. I had a sprained ankle and was using stairs for the first time. No one seemed to care, and I had no idea this was the setup. It is a very long walk from the check-in area to these basement rooms. I said that I booked the hotel because it was recently renovated and……

“Staff was amazing. We called and asked if we could have the bar send up drinks and within 5 minutes the bartender sent our order up to our door. View looking out to the water from our room was also beautiful. Everything was clean besides the rug in the room. I had to throw out my white socks after wearing them around the room for a few hours because of how black they turned underneath. Would have been lovely if they provided disposable slippers if they don’t maintain the rugs.”

“We loved The Country Inn! If we find ourselves back in the area, we would stay there again. Super clean, easy parking, convenient location and very friendly staff. A quiet, peaceful place with nice country style decor. AC worked great, pre-bagged ice available for guests, beautiful desk in our room, and a rocking chair. Highly recommend!”

“The hotel and room was very clean and the staff was nice. The Mexican restaurant on property was amazing. Very good food and very well priced during happy hour. The room was kind of dark as there were only the bedside lights when the blinds were closed. The bathroom ceiling clearly had water damage from lack of ventilation and the amount of caulking used and not used to hide the gaps on the faucet and handle was actually laughable. The missing towel hangers on the wall in the bathroom was very……

“We stayed in a 1st floor room and it was sufficient for a 1-night stay at a bargain price. Beds were comfortable and staff friendly. It’s a solid 4/5 star for a 3 star hotel and I would stay again. The rooms were mostly renovated but the bathroom was older and there were very few toiletries so bring your own shampoo!”
