“I think it was a decent place but the cleaning staff didn’t make the beds, the woman at the restaurant was awfully rude, the restaurant promoted breakfast and it was a bowl of cereal for 5 bucks. The WiFi totally sucked! I wouldn’t return”

“The room on 1st floor and towards the highway was musty and had a weird smell that wasn't going away. It wasn't cleaned properly as well. Book room towards the parking side and upper level.”

“Room was clean but we needed to walk from reception to the opposite end of the hotel, last room. Would have been nice to know that we could have moved our car behind the hotel and parked near a back door. Everything else was fine except for the fact that the pool was closed for the day, a Sunday 85 sunny degrees. No explanation, as there was no work being done.”

“They showed an outdoor pool online and there were no chair to sit on, the room was tiny, I called about bed size they said this is what they had available. Staff was not helpful.”

“Friendly staff. Room refreshed daily upon request. Excellent breakfast buffet. A little pricy though to be 15 to 29 minutes away from the beach. ”

“This was the WORST Motel my wife and I have stayed in in our 57 years of Marriage. The room was filthy---dirt in all corners. The mattresses were double but very small and flimsy and we had to sleep in two separate beds for fear of one of us fall out of the double beds and we are NOT large people ( 110 and 160 lbs respectively. We would have moved after the first night but there were no other motels with vacancies in this area.”

“This is my third stay at Doubletree. It is a clean and comfortable hotel with friendly and accommodating staff. The rates are also reasonable. I would highly recommend this hotel.”

“We got to our room and there was a horrible smell of body odor and onions. The room looked like someone tried to put paint on shabby fixtures. Many dirt stains on the wall and scruffs and scratches and peeling of the baseboards. The bed was clean and sheets were clean. It was ok for one night but I wouldn’t stay here again. Laundry facilities were ok. Breakfast was standard for a hotel breakfast.”

“The hotel has a beautiful entrance and we were able to check in early. The only issue was water temperature in rooms....”

“The staff was great to work with. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The onsite restaurant was exceptional with their food and service. I have stayed at another local hotel for the last few years, but will only stay at the Holiday Inn when I am back in town from now on.”
