"This vacation home met our expectations very well. Clean, comfortable & well appointed. We loved being lakeside with the sound of the surf; proximity to the Sandy Hook pier was a nice bonus. The host responded promptly to the few queries that I had. Be prepared to bring your own bottled water as the tap water is from a well & tasted of iron. Access down to the beach from the front yard was not ideal, with several uneven steps and no handrail; after one descent, I was content to set my chair on the berm to enjoy the gorgeous view. Side trips to Gimli & Winnipeg Beach took no time at all thanks to the cabin’s location. We had a lovely week at this property & would definitely recommend it to friends looking for a beachfront holiday."

"The cottage is situated on a park-like lot backing on to the lake. Beach access is possible but depends on wind strength/direction. The interior has a beautifully appointed kitchen and bathroom with several separate spacious areas for relaxing or gathering. The bedrooms are a little tight if you are planning to set up cots for children and I wouldn't recommend the bunk bed for an adult as the mattress is quite thin. We had checked with Susan regarding available toys/DVD's for kids beforehand so brought our own which worked out well. We were a little too late to start a bonfire and sadly neither fireplace was operational so we missed out on enjoying a cozy fire."

"The instructions were simple and clear. Host was great and communicative. The place was clean and the backyard has a lot of room. My boyfriend and I enjoyed are stay including our dog. She was really excited and the people in the neighbourhood were friendly as well. :)"

"Beautiful property! Love how close it is to the lake. We were able to enjoy the sunset since we are close to the lake. The property itself was nice and spacious. Lots of options for cooking. The only this is that we weren't aware that upstairs bedroom didn't have doors. It was fine for us but would be nice we were told. Overall, beautiful place and would definitely book it again!"
