「The whole house was perfectly appealing, clean and comfortable. Sam met us on arrival, showed us around and made us feel welcome. The room was lovely and the bed so cofortable with beautiful down filled duvet. Topped it off in the morning with a delicious healthy breakfast and pleasant conversation. The beautiful location was serene and inviting. Will definitely visit as a repeat guest in future.」

「Frühstück für amerikanische Verhältnisse sehr gut und abwechslungsreich, frisch und das Personal füllt ständig suf und reinigt alles. Die Zimmer sind sauber und gut ausgestattet. Die Betten sind sehr angenehm. Schopping in drr Nähe. Mit dem Auto ist man in wenigen Minuten am Alderney Ferry Parkplatz um nach Halifax zu fahren. 」

「This was such a wonderful surprise. I honestly didn't expect much from a hotel on the edge of Halifax but the staff were very friendly, the room was older but clean and large, and out the back was a lake with maintained walking trails. Great stop on our trip :)」

「A quaint Inn that offers the best service and comfortable rooms. A little run down, but the old bookcase with glass doors, at the landing of the stairs, makes up for any cosmetic issues. Sheets are crisp and clean. Workers smiling and willing to go above and beyond. This will be my go-to “home” when visiting Halifax.」

「Lovely location across from the lake, with beautiful fall colours. Easy to find, with lots of parking. Entrance is on the parking lot level, above the restaurant. Cozy suite, with snacks provided as breakfast option. Communal sitting area and deck. Close to the airport. 」

「The staff is very nice and helpful and it's the cleanest hotel I've been to in 2 years! And you can walk up to the restaurants, shops, cinema which are 2 blocks away! It's close to the highway and to Dartmouth downtown and Halifax harbour. Looking forward to our nex vacation here!」
