"The only thing that was not 100% amazing was the toilet in our room was small and short and so was the shower head. I am only 5’4” so there is no way my husband would have been able to use either at 6’2”…. Other than that it was such an incredible historic place with all the grandeur and old wonderful charm!"

"We did eat breakfast but the day of check in we enjoyed lunch, very good! We stayed in The Barn, the room was very clean and beautiful. Our only problem we found was the mattress was way too soft. My husband and I both agree they need a new mattress. Everything else was excellent ‼️"

"Stunning views, great location, quiet and friendly neighborhood, beautiful sunsets on the bay. This house is spacious with an open floor plan - lots of natural light, very clean, and comfortable beds. We had our dog with us so the fenced yard was a bonus. Kitchen was well stocked for cooking, full sets of dishes and plenty of silverware and coffee mugs. Soft linens and snuggly blankets made it feel like home. Jennifer was great to work with from booking throughout our entire stay. We would stay here again!"

"I'm a frequent VRBO user. Before arrival date, I get an email with entrance codes. The night before we left, I hadn't heard anything and left a message on the site. Nothing. Only when I texted the host did I get the info. The reason given was they were waiting to be sure the cleaning was done. Warning - the sixth bedroom is in a separate building, only has a pullout sofa bed and has a bathroom outside. This info is not in the listing. When we got there, a smoke detector was beeping. The host said nobody could come until the next day, even though it was 3 in the afternoon. Oh, and there might be a stepladder in the laundry room, nope. Those things beep until fixed, so basically they said fix it yourself or have constant beeping all night. Changing all the batteries in the spring should be mandatory for rental houses. Noise warning for two separate things - there is a constant intermittent noise from the water heater in the closet of the master bath. It sounds like an alarm and can also be heard on the floor above. Finally, renters should know that there is a house being built right next door. With all the outside activities the house offers, this is a major issue. The sound of trucks backing up and pounding while playing pickle ball or sitting outside is beyond annoying. Be forewarned if you're renting this summer. They also declined to offer a discount while the construction is happening, claiming they have no control. So be aware."

"Quiet loft apartment with very nice field for a dog to run around! The sauna was great(didn’t use the hot tub but it looked nice). Stairs to enter and exit a bit steep and kitchen sink is small. Otherwise, a great value, beautiful setting and responsive host. Will return here next time in Annapolis area!"
