Enjoyable stay
Upon arrival at the property we were very pleased to see that cleanliness was clearly of importance to this property owner/manager.
Everything was exceptionally clean.
The kitchen was fully equipped with everything needed to cook and with plenty of everything, which was wonderful.
I did however have a few problems with the hob top and couldn’t work out how to use it but since we ate out most days this didn’t really matter to us personally. Perhaps some simple instructions on this could help future guests though.
Unfortunately there does seem to be an issue with ants at the property, an issue I’m sure could very easily be sorted from outside, they seem to travel up from the ground floor to the middle floor and somehow access the property. Be careful you don’t leave anything out! Especially not a tiny swig of apple juice in a glass like my daughter!
The swimming pool is also very deceptive in the photograph of the property, it’s actually probably only about 8ft by 6ft, so sadly not really big enough for a family of 4 to play any ball games in or swim in which was a little unfortunate, my 6 year old daughter could only manage to get 4 swim strokes in from one end of the pool to the other so this was disappointing based on the photo as it wasn’t what we were expecting.
We had an issue with hot water, we didn’t have any, this was very quickly sorted by the maintenance team, who also bought a gas bottle across for the bbq as there wasn’t one on arrival. Sadly when they sorted the hot water that shut off the air conditioning so we didn’t have that for our stay.
The situation of the property is lovely, it’s very quiet, many beaches are just a short 10-20 minute drive away, we went to lots of places with many restaurants and lots of things for the children to do. Go karting was just 10 minutes away. There’s a shop which sells probably anything you’d need just a few minutes walk away in the square, the area also has a pharmacy just a couple of minutes away. There are 3 bars and a restaurant in the village too.
For large food shops you can access these from just 10 minutes by car, there was a Lidl, Mercadona and Aldi.
No instructions on where to get rid of our rubbish though, this would be helpful too
Overall this property was lovely to stay in and I’d be happy to stay there again, I believe it was a new rental so issues I’d consider as teething problems only and easy to sort, mainly the ant treatment required. Thank you so much for having us!
