The property is set high above a small village - with stunning views of mount Etna. It has an amazing garden ... and lot of space. Huge variety at breakfast ... Biggest bonus: host (and her mother - thanks for breakfast treats) made it special. We saw Etna against a blue sky - and also covered in snow (in May!). The terrace also has views down to the sea! I can imagine the garden and terrace would be even nicer in summer ... Huge thanks to Zaira for making our holiday special :-)

Ein wirklich herausragendes und liebevoll gepflegtes B&B. Zimmer und Service waren top. Beim nächsten Sizilienurlaub werden wir hier sicher wieder absteigen. Das individuelle Frühstück ist ein absolutes Highlight!

Comfortable quiet house in rural setting

We were welcomed by Zaira who looked after us very well. We enjoyed some homemade treats and cakes, courtesy of her mum, and each day we were offered a generous breakfast. It was very quiet as we were the only people staying at the time, although the neighbourhood dogs sometimes were very vocal. We understood the kitchen was available for us, but there was an extra charge for this - only 3€ so not a problem, but Zaira left pots, plates, cooking stuff out specially, so remember to plan ahead if you want to prepare a meal in. This was all done with good humour as if it was no trouble at all. We could see Mt Etna from our window which was good. The local village has a few restaurants and it's main attraction is an ancient horse chestnut tree, about 5 minutes walk from the B&B, where there is also a bar and decent pizza restaurant. This is a little out of the way and you need a car, but a really nice place to stay for an impression of rural Sicily and to access Etna. Touch tricky to find, but if you get to the chestnut tree, keep the car park on your left, stay on the main road and Nake is on the right at a junction after about 800m.

Allez y! C'est vraiment génial.

Nous avons passé un séjour très très agréable. Le couple qui nous a reçus était vraiment très gentil et très serviable. L'environnement de cette résidence est époustouflant, d'un coté l'ETNA de l'autre la mer. Une résidence où nous aurons plaisir à y retourner. Encore merci de votre accueil chaleureux

Nice place to stay with a huge garden and terrace

friendly host, excellent breakfast - great location: around 15 km to Taormina and the Etna. Rooms are clean, but not equipped luxury. In front of the each room is a huge private terrace with a lovely view, surrounded by lots of fruit trees. The host has given to us the key to the kitchen, we could cook our tea all day long

Отель (а точнее дом на участке) в целом очень приятный в сельской местности и вдали от городской суеты. Вид на Этну. Сад в японском стиле. Номер на втором этаже имеет террасу с шикарным видом на море внизу и гору на верху. Близкое расположение для поездки на Этну. Для любителей спокойного и релаксирующего отдыха. Заира (распорядительница) приятная в общении и очень помогающая. Из минусов: узкие и петляющие дороги на подъезде, относительной долгий выезд на автостраду. В самом номере объем бака горчей воды явно мал для двоих, а уж тем более для четверых. Матрас на кровати может быть лучше.

Eine wunderbare Woche bei einer wunderbaren Gastgeberin. Nake residenzia ist nicht nur ein herrlicher Ort zum Auftanken, sondern auch ein guter Ausgangspunkt für die Erkundung des sizilianischen Westens.

La residenza , è fornita di un Appartamento con due stanze separate che ospitano comodamente 4 persone , un bagno e un terrazzo vista mare di esclusiva pertinenza, al 1 piano; di una stanza per 2 persone con bagno al piano terra; di un area relax comune al piano terra; di una stanza per 3-4 persone con bagno al Piano Seminterrato (solo su un lato dello stesso); di un area Colazione al Piano Seminterrato; di un grande giardino, coltivato, perimetrale con area parcheggio e area gioco bimbi. Le stanze sono grandi, pulite e accoglienti. La colazione è genuina e molto buona. Il giardino è curato. nella Residenza e nei dintorni c'è tranquillità. I gestori sono attenti, cortesi e premurosi, ma mai invadenti. La posizione della Residenza è incantevole e utile per passeggiate in alcuni dei percorsi più belli sull'Etna . Nelle immediate vicinanze ci sono alcuni dei piccoli Comuni dell'Etna più caratteristici e in cui trovare molte manifestazioni culturali e eno-gastronomiche più importanti. Assolutamente consigliato, a chi vuole rilassarsi, godendo di un ambiente familiare e a contatto con la natura e la montagna o per meglio dire il Vulcano !

Nice and quiet B&B nestled below Mt Etna

Could not have asked for a nicer place to stay for our visit to Mt Etna & Taormina. Location was remote and quiet, very peaceful. Zaira, the owner, took excellent care of us and made a fantastic breakfast every morning. We were able to take a cooking class and get a massage right there on location. The view of both the mountain and the sea was magnificent. Room was very clean. Bathroom nice and clean, shower was just a bit small, but other than that it was wonderful. Zaira made us feel right at home and was the kind of host you want to have at a place like this. She spoke excellent English, so no communication problems. Other than this place being a little hard to find, it was truly an excellent property. It was well worth the drive. Although it was remote, there were 3 great restaurants only a few minutes away. Convenient to both Mt Etna and Taormina - about a 25 minute drive to each. Property was nice enough we plan to return here on our next visit to Sicily. Don't let the low price fool you in to thinking it is a substandard property - it's definitely a great find.

Traumhafter Urlaub, sehr freundlichen Gastgeber

Schon vor der Anreise erhielten wir von Zaira eine E-Mail mit einer äußerst hilfreichen Wegbeschreibung und dem wertvollen Hinweis, sich bloß nicht auf das Navi zu verlassen. Zur Ankunft wurden wir mit einem kleinen Willkommenssnack sehr herzlich begrüßt. All unsere Fragen wurden beantwortet und wir bekamen auch tolle Tipps für Ausflüge und Restaurants in der Umgebung. Das B&B hat uns so gut gefallen, dass wir sicherlich wieder dorthin fahren werden. Als Familienunterkunft absolut geeingnet! Danke für die schöne Zeit! Grazie Zaira!!

Excellent accueil sur les pentes de l'Etna

Une adresse au calme et un beau B&B sur les pentes de l'Etna, mais surtout un excellent accueil de Zaira. Des petites attentions (comme les excellents muffins maison pour le petit-déjeuner) et de bons conseils qui font la différence (en anglais de préférence...).

Schön restauriertes Haus, Toplage für Ausflüge

Sehr schon restauriertes Haus mit 3 Wohneinheiten (Zimmer oder Ferienwohnung), aber mit jeweils quasi-eigenem, stilvoll eingerichtetem Aufenthaltsbereich für jedes Zimmer. Sehr attraktive Lage, ruhig, mit großem Grundstück in völliger Ruhe, trotzdem ideal für Ausflüge zum Etna, aber auch nach Taormina, Catania. Direkter Blick auf den Etna. Sehr gastfreundliche Gastgeberin. Es gab ein (kostenloses) Frühstück, obwohl in der Buchung nicht erwähnt. Gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Wir wollen auf jeden Fall wiederkommen und dann länger bleiben.

A very nice and quiet place to stay in Sicily

We spend there 5 days and have visited Etna, Taormina and Syracusa from the B&B. The welcome from Zaira was very nice, and we felt at ease fast. The splendid landscapes (over sea and Etna) are so great from this place quite high on the east side of mount Etna! The B&B is designed with an artistic sense wich we loved. A large garden around the house with tipycal vegetation and nice organisation was great. The chamber was very clean and spacious, with air conditionning we used as eater (it can cool down the room as well). We had a car, which is mandatory to reach the B&B, and move from place to place to enjoy Sicily. Note this place is in nature, and is quiet at night. If you ara looking for night clubbing, just don't go! But to relax and have a drink with view on the mount Etna or sea, it is a kind of perfect place ! (we used the little fridge of the room to cool local beer and had some local beer & local pistachio & discussions about everything and nothing sat quietly in front of our room, which was higly enjoyable after long journey visiting!) There is nothing to complain (only minor little things, but it is not a 5 star hotel, so no need to mention it). So we give a 5/5 for the price and highly recommend this place. PS :A want to come back to Sicily to see a volcanic eruption in the futur, and I won't look for another place (unless it is full and unavailable).

オーナー家族が暖かく迎えてくれ、 エトナの麓でのんびりと過ごすことが出来ました。 観光予定地までの道のりや周辺のおすすめレストランなども親切に教えて頂いたり、 朝食も手作りのパンなどいろいろとご用意してもらい、おもてなしの心を感じることができました。 シチリアを訪れた際には是非再訪したいです。

Upgrade della camera, e aperitivo d arrivo come regali, appartamento meraviglioso vista mare e Etna, colazione abbondante, pulitissimo, silenzioso immerso nel verde, rilassante, ottimo sia per famiglie (noi siamo in 4 due adulti e due figli) che per coppie! Andateci non ve ne pentirete!
