Delightful stay in beautiful part of Puglia

We had a delightful stay. We were in one of the ground floor apartments with a spacious patio with plants providing natural privacy. Rafaello was a wonderfully kind and attentive host - he couldn't have been more helpful. Great local snorkeling and easy access to southern part of Puglia with some delightful towns to explore

First time in Italy

My partner and I had an amazing experience, are host Raffael is a great person and so helpful for us as we don’t know Italian. He took me to the local cafe while my partner was sleeping the first morning we were there for espresso. I continued to go there every morning for the rest of our trip, not just for the strong delicious espresso but also for the really friendly people who work there…. My partner has a bunch of allergies including dairy so she brought her own coconut milk for a cappuccino and they even offered to steam it for her😊. Rafael’s property was great with a pool for evening swims, different fruit trees and a view of the sea. The clear turquoise water of the sea was phenomenal and something that I had never seen before staying there. Thank you Raffael, we will be back😊

The essence of hospitality

We really enjoyed our stay and the great hospitality from Raffale and Francesca . They did their utmost for us to feel comfortable and helped with tips about the surrounding area in Salento. They also was generous with the taste of Italian cuisine, both by inviting us wonderful taste , and by helping us to find the best spots to get a taste of Italy . Excellent family stay

We, a family of 5, with two teenagers and a 7 year old had a phenomenal stay at this property. The owners are nothing short of miracle workers in terms of granting us all of our last-minute requests during the peek of the high season! Cooking class, reservations, hairdresser’s appointments, you name it, they make it possible. The premises are very clean and well-appointed and both, Raffaele and Dona Francesca make sure all guests feel welcome at all times, from the very first tour of the property until you leave. They were very kind in treating us regularly to a feast of fruits grown on the property and letting us take herbs, tomatoes and chilies from their neatly kept yard! Anytime we needed anything at all, they were eager to help and prompt to find a solution. We wholeheartedly recommend this stay and would not hesitate to return if we can! Pasamos unas vacaciones muy lindas en esta propiedad. Los dueños son un amor, excelentes anfitriones, muy finos y atentos. No escatimaron ningún esfuerzo por hacernos sentir a gusto, desde las maravillosas sorpresas de frutos frescos por las mañanas hasta conseguirnos todo tipo de reservaciones de última hora y en temporada pico (restaurantes, salón de belleza, clase de cocina privada). Raffaele y Doña Francesca son sumamente serviciales y amables. Definitivamente recomendamos esta propiedad y esperamos poder volver.

A wonderful visit to Puglia and Salento

We enjoyed the hospitality of Rafaelle very much. He was very flexible with our arrangements for arrival, and the fact that we did not know if we would have our dog with us upon arrival. (We eventually found a dog-sitter, but could have brought him for an extra cleaning fee of 50 euro.) The apartment was nicely air conditioned... very important for a comfortable nights sleep. It was our first trip to Puglia, and we fit nicely with our 3 children. The kitchen was fully supplied with dishes and utensils, we needed only to bring dish soap and towels. There is no microwave so plan to use the stove top or the oven for everything. There was a fold out couch that could fit 2 people, a bedroom with a double bed, and another small room with two single beds. (Note, the small room with the two double beds did not have its own A/C so we had to leave the door to the living room open). There is a very small TV in the room with SKY, though not very functional because it was oddly placed behind the couch. Across the street from the apartments, walking for about 3 minutes, is a huge pool complex overlooking the sea called "diecinove" or something like that. It is not free, but Raffaele maintains many contacts in his hometown and was able to get us discounted prices to almost everything in Santa Cesarea Terme, including this amazing complex. (He gave us his personal cell number and told us to call him whenever we wanted to do anything locally.) The beds were surprisingly comfortable as compared to most other beds we've slept on in Europe. You should note that towels and linens/blankets for the beds are not included in the room. You can rent them separately, or you may bring your own. (There are two washing machines for use of guests behind the apartments, but they are European models so they do take quite a while.) We were able to enjoy the rugged cliffs and visit the Terme in town, and on other days we travelled to Leuca (30 mins south), Otranto (25 mins northeast), and on the Ionian See we visited Gallipoli (50 mins) and the amazing beaches Torre Lupillo (50 mins). Two hours north, near Brindisi we visited Alberobello and the Castellana Grotte. Though we were very busy trying to see all of Puglia and Salento, we were always very relaxed and comfortable at Rafaelle's vacation apartments, and he was a very gracious and accomodating host. When an owner drives you into town and points out the main attractions himself, you know he really cares!

Einfach nur perfekt! Die Lage oberhalb der Bucht (super zum schnorcheln undleicht zu Fuß zu erreichen)mit Blick aufs Meer. Der super Pool, die Ruhe. Sehr freundliche Gastgeber, die uns nicht nur mit wertvollen Tipps geholfen sondern uns auch mit Köstlichkeiten verwöhnt haben. Séjour Fantastique

Un séjour parfait pour notre famille de 5 personnes pendant cet été chaud très inhabituel dans les Pouilles mais grace à la climatisation aucun soucis. L'endroit est fantastiquement situé, à seulement 5 minutes à pied d'une magnifique petite crique d'eau turquoise. Et surtout, Raffaele et Francesca ont toujours été là pour nous: En plus des petites attentions, mures, figues et tomates du jardin ils ont toujours pris le temps de discuter de tout, où aller, quoi faire, où manger ! Nous avons hâte d'y retourner ! !!

Bellissima vacanza

Abbiamo soggiornato per la prima volta in questa zona del Salento. Il paese di S. Cesarea è molto bello, con le sue ville antiche e la splendida vista sulle scogliere. La vicinanza ad Otranto e a Lecce, le splendide cale e spiagge raggiungibili in macchina, la baia sotto casa dal mare cristallino hanno conquistato il nostro cuore. La gentilezza e disponibilità del sig. Raffaele e della moglie hanno reso la nostra vacanza speciale. Ci sentiamo di consigliare questa sistemazione. Noi speriamo di ritornare presto!

Il ritorno....accoglienza senza confronti!

Quest’anno ancora al Francis ,ancora una volta nella nostra adorata Santa Cesarea Terme e ...dove potevamo andare se non al Francis!?!? L’accoglienza del signor Raffaele e sua moglie è stata,come per l’anno scorso ,fantastica : fichi appena raccolti , cornetti caldi (la prima mattina),peperonata con pittula e pomodorini freschi del loro orto ! L’appartamento è ben curato , molto pulito e fresco . Tutti i servizi descritti sono presenti nella struttura e sono efficienti e funzionali : tv ; condizionatore; cucina; frigo ; doccia ; ecc. Quello che rende questo appartamento unico e ‘ lo spazio esterno con una mirabile vista mare ed una cura dei particolari davvero speciale : vasi colorati , piante grasse e non, bouganville e oggetti particolari. In questo appartamento la comodità si coniuga perfettamente con il gusto per il bello . Consiglio a tutti, famiglie , giovani amici e coppie con o senza bambini un bel soggiorno rilassante e piacevole in una struttura tanto accogliente!! Arrivederci al prossimo anno al Francis e a Santa Cesarea !

Insieme alla mia famiglia siamo stati ospiti nell'appartamento Grecale, durante il nostro soggiorno abbiamo ricevuto una piacevole sopresa in quanto Francesca e Raffaele sono stati molto cordiali e quasi ogni giorno ci deliziavano con pietanze tradizionali pugliesi. Merveilleux séjour !!!

Nous avons séjourné 10 jours dans ce très bel appartement, très bien aménagé (nous n'avons manqué de rien), parking, belle terrasse, climatisation... Nous y avons été accueillis très chaleureusement par Raffaele et Francesca (de l'eau fraiche et du melon nous attendait dans le frigo dès notre arrivée). Nous avons apprécié la disponibilité de Raffaele dès le début de notre séjour, il est toujours prêt pour aider ses vacanciers (petit problème avec le cadenas de la valise qu'il nous a rapidement aidé à solutionner). Les enfants ont également beaucoup apprécié cet accueil : cueillette des premières figues avec Raffaele, petite balançoire sous un olivier,... Francesca nous a préparé un plat authentique : les "friselle", un délice ! A plus de 1800km de notre maison, nous nous sommes rapidement sentis comme chez nous. La région est merveilleuse, très belle et très accueillante (la mer, les plages, les cigales...). La plage est à quelques pas et nos enfants ont adoré nager dans cette eau turquoise à la recherche des nombreux poissons. Quelques villes agréables pour se promener sont assez proches, Otranto à +/- 15 km. Nous avons passé de merveilleuses vacances et nous retournerons certainement un jour dans cette belle région d'Italie !!! Encore merci à nos hôtes.

Estate fantastica

Gli appartamenti sono situati nel comune di Santa Cesarea Terme, nei pressi della incantevole baia di porto miggiano, meno di 100 metri. Sono appartamenti deliziosamente rifiniti e con ogni confort, dall'aria condizionata, alla lavatrice, al WI fi., completi di tutte le stoviglie, pulitissimi e veramente ben rifiniti. Ideali per una vacanza, sono situati in posizione strategica per chi ama spostarsi, infatti sono a 15 minuti da Otranto, dalle spiagge incantevoli di baia dei turchi, a 30 minuti da leuca, a 50 da Torre lapillo sulla costa ionica. L'appartamento che ho preso per le mie vacanze è il Grecale, composto da angolo cottura con soggiorno, camera da letto e bagno. Completa una veranda esterna dove mangiare, molto fresca e ventilata. In oltre dispone di un angolino intimo dove poter leggere in tutta tranquillità o sorseggiare un buon caffè. Oltre alle eccellenti doti degli appartamenti, va aggiunta la professionalità e cortesia dei proprietari Raffaele e Francesca, sempre disponibili ed attenti. Pronti a prendersi cura dei propri ospiti. Dimenticavo gli appuntamenti sono dotati di parcheggio chiuso. Veramente un ottimo posto ed è sicuramente questo il motivo per il quale è il secondo anno che ci torniamo.

Tutto incantevole!

Io e la mia famiglia abbiamo trascorso qui dieci giorni favolosi.La casa è incantevole l'appartamento spazioso, molto pulito e non manca proprio nulla.È situato fuori dal paese di Santa Cesarea a pochi passi dalla bellissima spiaggetta di Porto Miggiano.Di qui noi ogni giorno, spostandoci in macchina, abbiamo potuto visitare comodamente luoghi e spiagge diverse del Salento una terra veramente magnifica.Merita un capitolo a parte la gentilezza, l'ospitalità, la professionalità dei proprietari Raffaele e Francesca che ci hanno guidati e coccolati rendendo la nostra vacanza veramente speciale.Grazie si cuore.

Un piccolo tesoro nel Salento

Cercando una destinazione nella zona del Salento che preferiamo, abbiamo trovato Francis Vacanze e subito la descrizione della casa e del giardino circostante ci ha attratti. Sin dai primi contatti abbiamo scoperto una gentilezza e una disponibilità ottima da parte dei proprietari ,e una volta arrivati a destinazione tutte le nostre aspettative si sono avverate. La casa ,comoda e attrezzata , era pulitissima ,in ottimo stato...mobili nuovi confortevoli, ambienti semplici ma curati. Il luogo e’tranquillo , il giardino e le verande curate....Servizi come negozi e supermercato a pochi minuti...tutti molto gentili..I dintorni bellissimi..la piccola baia di porto Miggiano con acque limpidissime ,e’ facilmente raggiungibile , come anche la deliziosa Castro... Raffaele e Francesca, i proprietari sono sempre statati discreti e disponibili, pieni di attenzioni , ospiti ideali... Consigliamo certamente questa sistemazione per visitare il bellissimo Salento e ,come noi, non vedrete l’ora di tornare...

La casa è come descritta e si trova vicinissima alla splendida cala di Porto Miggiano, raggiungibile a piedi in pochi minuti. L'appartamento è in ottimo stato, arredato bene e dotato di ogni confort. Aria condizionata e anche wi-fi funzionano molto bene. Per ogni esigenza Raffaele si è dimostrato sempre disponibile e attento, con discrezione. Piacevoli omaggi "culinari" hanno allietato ulteriormente il soggiorno.... Ottimo punto di partenza per visitare tutto il Salento e i luoghi suggeriti da Raffaele. Siamo appena tornati ma saremmo già pronti a ripartire..... Grazie per le belle ferie. Francesco e Sonia.

Excellente situation !

Les logements sont très bien situés, équipés et très propres. La plage située à 50 mètres est exceptionnelle. Le propriétaire est très sympathique et disponible. Seul bémol : réception wifi très mauvaise.

ideale per una famiglia

Abbiamo trovato la soluzione ideale per la nostra vacanza e per le cure termali per le nostre bambine. Posto meraviglioso, casa comoda per una famiglia di 5 persone, mare meraviglioso raggiungibile a piedi, vicina al centro di Santa Cesarea Terme e alla struttura termale (5 min di macchina), punto ideale per raggiungere e visitare i posti più belli della Puglia. Accoglienza da parte dei proprietari paragonabile a quella dei parenti più attenti e affettuosi: prodotti tipici di benvenuto, consigli preziosissimi per godere appieno della vacanza, possibilità di utilizzare un basilico e dei pomodorini eccezionali dell'orto dietro casa!!! Siamo stati davvero bene e anche in noi ha iniziato a battere un ... cuore salentino!!!

ottima location

Ottimo posto dove trascorrere delle vacanze in completo relax. Anche quest'anno ci siamo ritornati molto volentieri. La casa è perfetta, pulita e con ottime rifiniture. I proprietari sono molto gentili e sempre disponibili per qualsiasi esigenza, mai invadenti anzi molto ospitali. Il luogo merita davvero, il mare cristallino è a pochi passi dall'appartamento. Lo consiglio vivamente.

piccolo paradiso salentino

sono trascorsi poco più di 2 anni ma non abbiamo resistito: ai luoghi ameni del Salento alle terme di S. Cesaria terme, al clima, al mare stupendo a metà tra natura selvaggia e un ottimo servizio ristorativo, in più strutture organizzatissime x il relax nel minimo dettaglio senza dimenticare masserie tipiche di queste terre, le sagre tipiche della zona il calore e la puntualità del responsabile di questa struttura oltre alla disponibilità ed i preziosi consigli: IMPECCABILI!!!! x avvalorare cio' che ho scritto: ritornerò se tutto va bene anche l'anno prossimo!!! ....scusate se è poco....

Soggiorno perfetto,sia per l'ospitalità dei proprietari,sia per i luoghi incantevoli nelle vicinanze.Le attenzioni riservate agli ospiti,superano di gran lunga le solite aspettative,le informazioni e le dritte avute,aiutano non poco,a trascorrere una vacanza già di per se destinata ad essere bellissima per merito degli splendidi paesaggi e posti della Puglia.Assolutamente da consigliare!!

Un ritorno fantastico

Luogo ideale per ritornarci una seconda volta. Gli appartamenti sono molto belli, nuovi e ben tenuti dalla proprietà, tutti indipendenti e dotati di privacy ed alcuni di una vista mozzafiato. Godono di ogni comfort e sono posizionati vicino al mare ed ai maggiori lidi di Santa Cesarea. I proprietari Raffaele e Francesca sono impeccabili nella cura degli ospiti a cui dedicano sempre particolare attenzione nel soddisfare ogni piccola esigenza. Siamo stati molto bene ed anche quest'anno abbiamo potuto gustare le prelibatezze della sig.ra Francesca e dell'orto di Raffaele, ai quali va il nostro sincero ringraziamento. Lo consiglio vivamente a famiglie o coppie che desiderano trascorre un periodo di sano relax.

Una settimana da ricordare

Abbiamo passato una settimana in questo appartamento e ci è dispiaciuto lasciarlo per spostarci sulla costa ionica. L'appartamento è molto curato, pulito e ben arredato. Immerso nel verde e con bellissimi fiori che vengono curati quotidianamente. L'attenzione dei proprietari, Raffaele e Francesca è massima pur non essendo mai invadenti. La location è a circa 1km dal centro del paese e a pochi passi da uno splendido centro dove si trovano tre piscine con acqua di mare e a picco sul mare stesso. La costa è rocciosa e si godono panorami meravigliosi. Da consigliare a chi vuole godersi una settimana in relax e fuori dal caos di altre mete salentine in agosto.
