"The hotel was on the canal which made it easy for water taxi. The entire staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and classy although a little small. The location is a 20 minute plus walk to St Marks Square, but that is probably a good thing since it's much quieter here. Close to bridge to train station where Venetian commuters come and go. I would stay again if back in Venice."

"My spouse and I stayed here, and we liked it quite a bit. I thought it was a nice quiet area and it’s really close to the water bus system to get around which is nice. There are a lot of beds and places to sleep, much suited for a family or group of friends. The only thing I was not a fan of was that there is NOT a bath tub as listed, but rather two showers in separate bathrooms. They recently renovated, separating the one into two. Great for some, we just didn’t need that."

"Really lovely hotel. Walkable to everywhere and super convenient for water taxi/vaparetto. Made getting in from the (farther away) airport a breeze. Staff very friendly and helpful. Bathroom in good condition. Very nice bedroom with luxurious heavy drapes. Everything in working order. Kettle for coffee, but they give you espresso drinks at breakfast, so I didn’t have the need to use it."

"What a great overnight stay in Venice in such an exceptional location for exploring the city. The communication from Marco was first class and the property was excellent with a great host. The breakfast was nice and local restaurant recommendation was superb. Walkable to the major sights and close enough to the transport hub to arrive on foot. "This hotel is located a short walking distance from St. Mark’s Square. It’s quiet and easy to get to. The breakfast was tasty and included. Staff members were pleasant. I’d stay here again and I highly recommend it. "

"The location of this hotel is perfect…close enough to walk to everything but away from the biggest crowds. There is a wooden patio facing The Grand Canal…perfect to sit and watch the boats and gondolas. The staff couldn’t have been any nicer or accommodating. Nothing was a problem…gave us wonderful recommendations for restaurants and sites..arranged our water taxi upon check out to get us to the train station. "Amazing stay on our last stop of 2-week trip through Italy. Top-notch service, clean, good location, authentic property, convenience of a dock right on the Grand Canal, and a good breakfast to start each day. We received an upgraded room for our anniversary along with a bottle of chilled prosecco awaiting us - such a nice gesture which we really appreciated! "Staff was helpful with recommendations. This property was not conducive to families. Needed to be super quiet. It was terribly difficult to enter and leave. Air did not work. The room was 90 plus degrees. We all sweated terribly and now they are asking us to pay 300 plus euro for a new mattress claiming someone wet the bed. They said they’d get us a water taxi. Taxi was 20 minutes late and we almost missed our flight. It was terribly difficult to get our luggage up the stairs. Tunnel entrance...
