Great Place to Stay!
This is a comfortable, dual-level, family town home situated 1 block from the beach at Rio Del Mar … just far enough to feel peacefully apart from the crowds, but an easy amble to the beach. This popular beach runs south of Santa Cruz and boasts miles of sand and a variety of restaurants. There is also a shopping center with a major grocery store; sundries and hardware store and other shops and restaurants nearby. A 2 minute walk takes you to the Seacliff State Park and Beach with BBQ and picnic areas, fishing pier and walking path.

This furnished vacation home has vaulted ceilings; tile and carpeted floors; large, open floor plan; and its own private deck. The secluded deck is a wonderful spot to relax and listen to the ocean. The kitchen has a bar counter with bar stools and a separate family style dining table and tiled counter tops.

Linens are included at no extra charge. Stove, dishwasher, microwave, coffee pot, toaster and blender are all there to make you feel at home during your stay (plates, silverware and cookware provided).

Great beachy location in aptos!

Wonderful location that is walkable to a dog friendly beach. Place had everything we needed. One day there was a trail of ants that came in the house in the setting if a rainy day. Otherwise, no problems and thoughtful host with great communication. Would stay again.

Perfect getaway

We wanted to see Woodies on the Wharf and just have a nice weekend and this property provided that at 150%! Clean, just as advertised, so close to the beach and so many nice touches that made the day complete. Highly, highly recommend!

Relaxing Beach Vacation

My son and I stay here every time we come to the beach for vacation. The house is clean, comfortable and well stocked with everything you need. The location is perfect. Just steps from Rio del Mar beach, and a quick walk to Sea Cliff State Beach. A quick drive to Santa Cruz too. All the restaurants nearby are wonderful. Pixie Deli has great breakfast and lunch and Venus Pie Trap has the best croissants! I would highly recommend staying here.

Perfect Beach Vacation

I have been staying here for my beach vacation every summer with my son. We love the location, just a quick walk to Rio Del Mar Beach. Walk a little further to Sea Cliff State Beach. Great places to eat near by. Pixie Deli and Venus Restaurant and Bakery. A short drive to Santa Cruz Beach Board Walk. The cottage is very comfortable, clean and well stocked with everything you need. I always look forward to this home away from home.

Very happy with our stay. House was clean, lots of towels, hot water, well stocked kitchen. Lots of thoughtful comfort stuff. Dogs loved walking on the beach 1 block away. Owner is very responsive and helpful if needed. Nice to sit on the balcony off the master bedroom in the sun and read. 3 restaurants and store right handy.

Beachside Aptos review

Exceptionally clean, tidy, and comfortable condo. It was easy to relax in this well stocked, organized unit, as host has planned well for guests enjoying either a short or an extended stay. Located in a super quiet neighborhood, this unit is a very short (2 min) easy walk to the beach. With windows open at night, guests can hear the gentle sound of ocean waves upon the beach. All communication with host was excellent. Would definitely recommend this unit and hope to plan a return visit.

Perfect seaside retreat for our family of 4

The home fit our needs perfectly. We spent our days at the beach, hiking in the State Park, and our evenings at the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk and visiting friends. The house was well outfitted, including the kitchen. We look forward to visiting again in the future.

Great location

The location of this home is right behind the main street and beach. Easy walking to restaurants, the ocean, and walking paths. The home is comfortable, but with a little more TLC I believe this could be an adorable and more comfortable place to stay. (Nicer sheets and pillows, bedding decore, and more comfortable seating in the living area). We had an issue with getting into the residence, however, the owner worked with us to get access and offered to have it fixed. There were a couple minor issues we had to deal with that will hopefully be taken care of for future stays.
