Lana’s place was absolutely amazing. Beautiful, clean, with wonderful walk ability to the beach and nearby restaurants. We also loved the little back porch and yard and spent hours out there reading and enjoying a Santa Cruz sunshine. Will be back for sure… I’m not sure how we could’ve asked for more

This adorable little place was just as described. It had all the basic amenities, a very comfortable bed, and it was EXTREMELY immaculate. I am a clean freak and this was way beyond my expectations. It’s a friendly and quiet neighborhood. Good communication, I would definitely book here again if available.

Lana's beach house is an adorable cottage with beautiful beach themed decor. It was very comfortable. The backyard is a perfect spot to read or reflect. The neighborhood is quiet with friendly neighbors. The beach is a 5 minute walk away, there is a small convenience store/deli around the corner, and several restaurants in walking distance (go to Johnny's Harborside!).

Everything was perfect; just what I was expecting and I wasn’t disappointed. A great place to relax, close to the ocean and places to eat. For anyone interested in walking to the Boardwalk, it’s approximately 23K steps

Nice little house. Enjoyed the back yard. Limited seating for dinner. No one was using the 'studio" in back - a separate rental space? Might be a little awkward using the back yard and laundry if others were there. Walk to the beach and restaurants. Would stay again.

It was cozy and comfortable. Extremely clean. The bathroom was elegant and the shower was awesome. I loved the location as it was close to everything. I especially loved the parking space so we didn’t have to park on the street.

My husband and I stayed here for a long weekend as we were attending a wedding. The property was exactly as advertised. Such a cute, cozy beach house. Perfect for relaxing and just steps from Twin Lakes State Beach and walking distance to some great eating spots. Harbor Cafe breakfast was delish! One of the best VRBO's that we've stayed in. Would definitely come back again!

Loved this little cottage by the beach! Lovely covered porch in the backyard to enjoy coffee in the morning or a glass of wine at night. Close walk to a beautiful beach. Everything you need to cook but bring your own spices, napkins, foil etc…..

Beautiful property excellent location- just as advertised and very comfortable. Note that there are no cooking basics in the kitchen (salt, pepper, oil) which made cooking hard without buying a lot of supplies.

Great location.... just a five minute walk to the beach. House is cute, perfect for a couple. The kitchen is open and modern. Bathtub and a shower was nice. Everything was just lovely.

The house was clean, the bed comfortable and it was a short walk to the beach. We enjoyed the back patio in the evenings. The communication with the host was great. I would have given this house a 5 star rating except there were absolutely no condiments, not even salt and pepper.

Better than you expect!

5 Star Review! The pictures do not do this place justice. Its perfectly comfortable and suitable for a couple on a trip to Santa Cruz. The location was perfect for us, considering what we had going on while we were there.The living room furniture and the bed were comfortable. Plenty of towels available. The back patio was a very nice place to unwind at the end of the day. Furniture is comfortable and there are more chairs and small tables present, that are not shown in the listing photos.We did have a couple of hiccups but I'm not going to stray away from the 5 star rating as they are all more inconveniences than anything else. Plus they are all fixable.Kitchen - One of the cutting boards had crumbs and some food debris stuck to it.The kitchen knives were incredibly dull. Dull to the point that trying to cut a tomato, turned it to mush.There was a very dirty sponge left at the kitchen sink and the Dawn dishwashing liquid was practically empty. BBQ - Gas grill, located on the side of the house, which is not in the pictures. The propane tank was empty but there was a spare nearby. The grill surface had food residue stuck to it. There is a brush provided but it should probably be replaced soon as it was not the most effective at cleaning the grill surface. The ignition switch did not work either. Luckily, I found some matches in one of the kitchen drawer and was able to get the grill working.

Graduation weekend

Stayed while in town for my son’s college graduation. It was perfect. My parents stayed in the studio and we stayed in the main house. Plenty of room for all of us.
