"I haven't stayed in this hotel since 2012 and I must say its an incredible property in the perfect setting. However, on the first night we witnessed the restaurant staff have an absolute meltdown, it was embarrassing for all involved. The GM apologised and after that day everything was reasonably normal, however, there was an issue, and we never went back in the evenings. "We really can't fault the Hotel Casa Scaligeri! The staff are delightful, friendly, welcoming, efficient and very caring and knowledgable and empathetic when my husband was unwell. The hotel is spotless and the rooms are so comfortable. The air con isn't noisy and is very easy to control. Breakfasts are extremely generous, very tasty and there is a good variety of options, served at the friendly cafe around the corner. Nothing was too much effort for the staff there. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend. It is so central for everything in Sirmione."

"The accommodation was in a really good and quiet location but still only a short walk to the centre of Verona. It was very well equipped with a small kitchen. We asked for a kettle which was provided without any fuss. There was also a washing machine with detergent which was an unexpected bonus. It was very clean, tidy and spacious accommodation with very good facilities. The only very slight downside was lack of shelves or space in the bathroom to put toiletries on. Overall it was lovely bright, clean and inviting and we would definitely recommend staying there. Being close to the centre was a definite positive."
