I rarely review especially if the experience was bad, but this, I believe, unsuspecting travellers should know:
Went to check in early with a young child and was told (by the manager) to return at half two.
On our return we were asked to wait about an hour or so by the lady on check-in and cafe duties after asking the manager.
The poor lady who was taking cafe' orders, making coffee, serving customers as well as dealing with frontdesk duties, was courteous and kind but simply had too much on her hand.
After 2 hours of wait, we kept being told the room will be ready in 10-15 minutes.
This was after 3pm (supposed check-in time)
All whilst other bookings that arrived after us were being handed their key cards.
After lining up behind everyone who came after us (as we were asked to sit and wait), we were finally handed the key card.
The bottom line is, if you want them to treat you good, you have to buy food from their cafe. Otherwise, they'll treat you badly and make you wait.
(The kind, overworked lady was following manager's instructions).
Note to manager: You've lost yourselves a whole bunch of customers, amigo.
