This turned out to be so much more than we expected.

This turned out to be so much more than we expected. The house is lovely, lots of living space, nice bedrooms and a small but very practical kitchen. The grounds are something else. So much love and attention have gone into them, and for small children living in the suburbs of London, it was magical. Really good bbq with lots of good dry wood and kindling, making bbqing very easy. Thanks so much. We had a wonderful week.

If you want to be close to Palma, but not too far to visit other towns in the island, this is a great location! Santa Maria del Cami is a cute town with a great market on Sundays! The owner Lourdes was great! Very responsive, friendly and helpful at all times!

Fantastische accomodatie met alles erop en eraan

Super ontvangst, hele aardige eigenaresse, top service. Groot huis en tuin, voorzien van alle gemakken. Alles is aanwezig, van kruiden in de keuken tot wasmiddel. Heerlijk zwembad. Veel ruimte en privacy. De barbecue en de pizzaoven zijn ideaal om buiten te koken, zelfs hout hiervoor is aanwezig. Een huurauto is wel noodzakelijk voor de locatie aan een drukke weg (van de drukke weg heb je verder geen last). En er hangen ventilatoren in de woning, airconditioning in de slaapkamers zou iets prettiger zijn.

Die Finca, ist sehr groß und gepflegt. Es gibt keine direkten Nachbarn und man ist ungestört. Die Finca ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man sich nur wünschen kann. Es gibt jede Menge Spielzeug für Kinder, einen Grill, Pizzaofen und Poolutensilien. Außerdem wurden wir mit einem lieben Begrüßungskorb und Getränken im Kühlschrank begrüßt. Hier würde ich immer wieder Urlaub machen, vor allem auch mit Kindern.

Wir waren zu viert mit zwei Babys in Casa Pilot. Lourdes hat uns super herzlich und freundlich empfangen und uns ihr wunderschönes Haus und vor allem das tolle Gelände gezeigt. Die Kommunikation war zu jedem Zeitpunkt super unkompliziert und immer freundlich. Im Haus und auch auf dem riesigen Grundstück gibt es immer wieder Neues zu entdecken. Toller Pool, alles super sauber, alles da was man braucht. Wir sind Ultra glücklich, dass wir diese Unterkunft gefunden haben.

Thanks for facilitating our stay in this beautiful house

We were very lucky to be the first people to rent this beautiful, old Mallorcan style house through Airbnb. Our hostess, Lourdes, was there to welcome us and show us around the property, and she had thought of everything, including games and inflatables for the pool, a welcome basket of food and drink (as well as cold drinks and fresh fruit in the fridge). The house itself is stunning, lots of lovely period details and little personal touches that the photos just do not show, but in no way make you feel like you’re invading someone’s home. Everywhere was spotlessly clean; there were soft, fluffy towels provided (for the pool as well as the bathrooms), as well as some toiletries, tissues, etc. The kitchen has everything you need for self-catering—including that holiday kitchen essential: a dishwasher. The grounds of the house are huge and totally surround the property, giving you total privacy. There are plenty of shady places to sit or lounge about and a few different seating areas, including one next to the barbecue and a dining table just outside the front door. The pool is not huge, but big enough for a little exercise and a vital cool-down (while never being too cold!) Location-wise the house is not far from Palma, and the small town nearby, Santa María del Camí, has a little supermarket and lots of places to eat and drink if you fancy a night off cooking. However, we decided to make use of the barbecue most nights so can’t really recommend any (there is a list of places to try in the house though). There’s also a lovely vineyard down the road (Mallorca’s third biggest, I think), where you can sample some of their wines as well as taking a tour. We would thoroughly recommend a stay here. There is a small amount of traffic noise from the main road to the front of the property, but really not enough to disturb the general peace and tranquillity. You’ll need a car for getting about, but you’ll probably be content with spending a few days just relaxing around the house and garden.
