Location, Location, Location

Being right next to the pool and short distance from the beach is exactly what we were looking for. The house offers pool and beach toys. If you have a wagon I would recommend taking so you would not have to carry all your stuff to the beach. The house had everything needed to enjoy our stay. We had only one issue, the cable went out upstairs the second night so none of the TVs worked. We called and they had someone come right out. Unfortunately he was not able to fix the problem. We received a phone call stating that a technician would be out the following day but they never showed up. Partly our fault for not calling again and complaining but feel the management service should have kept in touch to make sure the issue was taken care of. On a second note we have visited the Santa Rosa Beach area for many years, in this price range, and all the previous homes offered additional amenities such as; folder with things to do in the area (for new guests not familiar with the area), a sign in book where we could right down where we could recommend places that we patronized and read where other guests went and a breakdown of what you are expected to do while staying such as when the garbage is picked up. I gave this property five stars because it is great property for families with children and a place to sit back and relax which is what a vacation is all about.

The house was nice and exactly as described. We had issues with the cleanliness of the home. It wasn't cleaned super well. There was a dust pan under a couch, a fruit snack wrapper under the foot stool, a bed had sand in it and we had to remake it, and a pair of shorts that did not belong to us were found under a bed. I do not hold the homeowners responsible for this as this is the responsibility of the cleaning people. The can opener was also broken. There were plenty of towels and washcloths which was very nice. The kitchen only had one wash rag and one hand towel; a couple of each would be nice. Another review stated that they would make up a folder with information pertaining to the area for those who are not familiar with the surroundings. There wasn't any information. The pool right by the house was great.

Great stay

From the Very beginning of our vacation right from our arrival this place was very relaxing, pleasant and accommodating. It was very clean and there was plenty of space for all of us. Might want to bring extra toilet paper, dish soap, dishwasher pods, paper towels and kitchen trash bags if you have a lot of people. Other than that, this place has everything you would need for an excellent beach vacation.
