Mom's 90th Birthday Celebration

The house is situated right across the street from one of only a few public beach access areas along the strip. The beaches are spectacular throughout the entire area are clean, with crystal white sand and clear waters, although it was cold for people like us from South Florida. The house itself looks brand new, from the kitchenware to the bathrooms, the fixtures and the overall details of the home. It is truly a nice place for family memories, and we took advantage of that to the fullest. The property manager made sure that everything was in order and made herself available if needed, which we only inquired about the combinations to the bicycles. Overall a great place to stay.

Perfect house for 9 adults & great location!

The house had a nice layout & the 2 balconies had great ocean views. The house was in a nice location convenient to Destin and Seaside. The grocery and coffee shops were a quick drive away. The beach access was perfect. It was right across the street from the house with no steps on the ramp to the sand. The small pool was an extra bonus in the late afternoons. I would highly recommend this house and would definitely stay there again.

Fabulous property!

We had the best time! The property management was quickly available for any assistance we needed. The beach was right across from us, and made it enjoyable for our morning coffee with the gorgeous ocean view. We got married on the white, sandy beach with our friends and family there! The house was stunning, clean, perfect and accommodating for us all. The surrounding area is so peaceful and well maintained, and we look forward to coming back!

Love this house

My family has stayed at Sweet Melissa every summer for the past four years and we LOVE it!! The location and the layout is perfect for all of us and we love having the small pool with jacuzzi. Just a couple of small issues: the freezer never makes ice so we are constantly buying bags of ice and the dryer always has some water in the bottom of the drum when you open it but it still works. (maybe some kind of condensation problem?) We'll continue to stay here every year as long as it's available to rent!
