Great Spot!

This was the perfect place for my family (parents, siblings, partners and 2 dogs) to explore wine country and lake sonoma for the long weekend!

Great for what we needed!

House was big enough for 8 people comfortably. Was clean and everything was as advertised. With the very high temperatures, the lack of AC was challenging, but cooled off at night and we did not spend time at the house during the day.

Great Location

The unit was overall clean and comfortable. There were some beverages and treats when we arrived....nice touch. The home is located near a state park with great views and hiking. Close to wine country. Quiet neighborhood. Had issue upon arrival but Avant responded immediately and addressed.

Great location

The house is in a good location and it’s easy to get to just about anywhere. We didn’t even notice in the listing that there was no air conditioning in the house 😳. We live in Texas so we are very accustomed to AC! There were several small cylinder style fans but no ceiling fans in bedrooms as indicated in listing. I contacted the property manager and they were very helpful. They immediately brought over a portable AC for us to use…. It didn’t work very well but at least they were trying to help. The temps got cooler at night so we were able to open windows and sleep comfortably. Ceiling fans would be a great addition to this house. The house has just about everything you need. The carpets are stained from previous guests with pets but other than that, was pretty clean. There is a hot tub in the backyard but due some reason we were told there was not one. Still not sure why that is…. Overall it was a nice place to stay

Not Great

Kitchen and dining room were lovely and decently supplied, very basic and limited but adequate. Carpets throughout were shabby and clearly stained, in desperate need of attention. One living room chair broke, looking at it, it was clear it has previously broken and repair was attempted. Master bed was comfortable, shower had two shower liners, one torn and knotted to attach to curtain hook. Hot tub was nice. Bedroom furnishings very sparse, dresser or desk/tabletop would be nice, nowhere to set anything. One luggage rack for all bedrooms. Nice neighborhood, very close to park with lovely trails. Avant- was hit or miss with communication - took a couple of tries to get answers to basic questions (is shampoo and soap provided or do we need to supply our own?). They clearly weren’t familiar, told us that basic kit (travel size) was included and then we would need to provide our own. No problem, that’s why we asked. Once on site, bathrooms were equipped with large size products hanging on shower wall, like at hotels. A number of misses in terms of basic conveniences for guests ( 1 luggage rack for 4 bedrooms, no towel hooks, hand soap dispenser way too big for pedestal sink). Disappointing…lots of opportunities to help guests be more comfortable.

Beautiful Home

We were so impressed with everything that was in the home. Everything that anyone would need was there for us to use. The Master bedroom has the best bed, so comfortable. We loved the kitchen area so open and everyone could join in the fun.

Beautiful home with everything we needed

We were in love with this property upon arrival. We needed maintenance for a very small issue and it was resolved in less than an hour! No big deal and did not disrupt us at all. Will definitely be back.

Cute but some suggestions …

The house is nice. We were greeted with a very nice gift basket. It was not as clean as I had hoped based on the fact that it was “inspected” before we arrived. We noticed a few spots in the bathroom that were missed and marks/sticky stuff on the walls. The bedrooms could all use their own trash baskets, there are no full size mirrors anywhere in the house, also the master bedroom could use an additional piece of furniture to place items in or on. We really did enjoy our stay and the house. It was very comfortable and plenty of space for the 6 of us.

A very nice house

The highlight for our kids is the hot tub in the backyard. The adults enjoyed ourselves under the stars with the outdoor firepit.
