Ohio wine lovers Getaway.

Property was as advertised and super clean! The pool and hot tub was an added bonus after a hard day of wine tasting! Would stay here again.

Nice home. Perfect for two couples, although the listing implies that you will be together in same place, just on different floors with a common area...we were surprised to be in separate places. Location is difficult for wine tasting in Napa, so that was also frustrating. But, overall, a very nice house and good experience.

Kenwood oasis

Prior to booking, I had seen the property listed for two different prices. I asked a question through VRBO. I did not get a response for 5 hours. I was running out of time to book so I booked the more expensive one. About a half hour after booking, I got a reply telling me that the more expensive one includes a separate room located over the garage. Oh well, I guess the two of us get a choice on where to sleep. Prior to arrival I got an email with a gate code and instructions on how to get into the cottage. They did not give me a code for the deadbolt. I called the number to the property manager. They were able to give me the code to the lock boxes that had a key in it. I don’t think I was supposed to have the key. The key was very difficult to use in the electronic deadbolt and we were unable to lock the door. I called twice and texted once. each time they said they would have the local contact reach out. That never occurred. Outside of those issues, the property was beautiful. The cottage sat on the edge of a hillside. What an amazing view. The cottage was clean and decently appointed. The main pool and spa were absolutely amazing. We had the entire property to ourselves. It was so peaceful and quiet. There were a ton of deer in the yard and plenty of wildlife around. The property backs up to a huge trail system. I took a morning run for 7 miles. This place was super convenient to the Kenwood area, but felt miles away. I would definitely stay here again.

Breathtaking views

It was an incredible property. Convenient to everything. We will definitely be staying there again. The only recommendation I would ask is to have the maintenance crew (leaf blower, lawn mower) come after 7am. That was truly annoying waking up to that. At least wait for the sun to come up. Other than that, it was a wonderful stay.

Peaceful stay in Sonoma

Lovely, clean, well-cared for Accomodations with beautiful view of sunset over hills. A little confused upon arrival as we did not understand two bedrooms were split between two buildings 200 feet apart. Great for adults traveling together looking for alone time; may not be for families. Wish we had extended our stay as our later accomodations in Healdsburg did not live up to this, tho be wary of driveway after dark or drinking!! Thanks for a perfectly lovely Covid-safe Sonoma getaway!

Amazing Wine Country Escape…Perfect for 2 Couples

We loved this spectacular property set in the mountains of wine country. Peaceful after a long day of wine tasting with all the amenities you need. Wonderful privacy with 2 separate units made it perfect for 2 couple traveling together. We can’t wait to come back!

Amazing property

Beautiful property with a fantastic view. We were in town for Bottlerock and thouroughly enjoyed our stay here. The grounds are so lovely...the cottage and loft are modern and well appointed. Relaxing by the pool after wine tasting in the area was fabulous! Look forward to a return visit soon!

Beautiful hilltop home

We had a wonderful long summer weekend on this property. The pool, hot tub and fire pit were spectacular! The view is amazing! Location is convenient to Glen Ellen and several trails, restaurants etc. we loved the wildlife, the trees and the lovely landscape. Everything about the cottage and the separate one bedroom unit where my 12 year old slept is well appointed and nicely furnished. Five stars!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This property is heaven: spotlessly clean, tastefully decorated and privacy atop a hill with excellent views. The best feature is the outside space; gorgeous pool and spa overlooking the views; beautiful landscaping and garden. The only downside was being awakened by the gardener who started his leaf blower at 7:25 am; and 2 separate unannounced visits from pool maintenance workers In one day, one without a mask and when my daughter was at the pool alone. Would definitely recommend the property— just confirm whether workers are scheduled to arrive and when so there are no surprises.

It was insanely beautiful!

It was exactly as it was described. The units were sparkling clean. The views were breathtaking, specifically the sunrises, it was close to so many great options! Uber found us too so it was convenient. We loved the singing tenors at VJB. We also had a private tour on day and ventured to some other hidden wineries that was amazing. Kunde was stunning, the little Italian place was delicious! We loved hanging by the fire pit one night and the hot tub! Just an over all great experience!

Amazing views, just minutes from town & wineries

We loved our stay at this beautiful cottage, that's in a peaceful location with amazing views. It's perfect for a wine country retreat. We were initially worried that it was near where the fires were, but the property is unscathed--and, it's nearby a ton of wineries and close to town. We loved having a private hot tub and access to their amazing pool. The views from the pool deck are breathtaking! The property was recently remodeled, and the new shared pool, deck and hot tub feel like they are from a 5 star resort. Although you're in the country, the cottage was modern and luxurious. The bed was super comfy with super soft sheets, and the towels and other linens were also of high quality. There were other nice touches, like robes with slippers and beach towels for our use. Although we didn't use it, there's also a gas fireplace that you can use. We highly recommend this wine country retreat and will be back soon!

Most beautiful place I've ever stayed (three times

This property in Kenwood is hands down the most beautiful, relaxing place I have ever stayed. We were so thankful that this retreat escaped the awful fires of late last year- and while the location is (very) close to some of the destruction of the north bay fires, the area is resilient and close knit...I actually found the attitude and energy of Kenwood and the surrounding "villages" to be inspiring. The property is perfect for a group that wants to: 1) Drink coffee while watching the sun come up over the mountains and the distant fog lift up over San Francisco (yes, the view is really that vast) 2) Bring your bike to do some fantastic road or mountain biking 3) Do nothing but lounge in the brand new pool and infinity jacuzzi spa overlooking the valley 4) Pick fresh veggies out of a massive garden and sautéed them over an equally massive stove in a beautiful kitchen 5) Leave through the private gated entrance to a wide variety of wineries. You can even walk to a handful if you don't mind a mile of beautiful countryside and a bit of a hill coming home. 6) Watch baby deer, barn owls and foxes enjoy the 5+ acres of natural landscape I could go on and on, but suffice it to say that if you are able to make it up for a long weekend (or week) to this place, you will always come back.
