Great Home and Location

I referred my friends to this place because I know the owner. They were two couples with a couple of children. They wanted to be close to Safari West and they loved the house. Each couple had a bedroom and the kids bunked in the third room and played video games. They appreciated being able to save money by cooking most of their meals there. Great wine country location! Will refer more friends/family members here!

Wine Country Getaway

Nice house near wine country. Off street parking and spacious. No central a/c but cool nights arent a problem. Nice place to stay!

You need to replace the carpet in this house it is beyond its useful life. The mold in the window of the primary bedroom was nasty. The window security stick literally came from the garden and still had dirt on them. I have never walked away from a rental because it was so bad until i rented this house. Needs a major cleaning. Looked like they had a frat party the night before we got there.

Be sure to read the listing carefully...There is NO working AC unit and it was 80 degrees in the house at 5pm!The bike yard is a small patio, very sunny.Carpets are dirty/stained.There's ample dishes available .Bathrooms were clean.Third bedroom is a couch that folds to a bed but needs a foam mattress to be comfortable. The room does work as a kid corner to watch a movie, but right next to the stairs, so not exactly safe for a 2 year old to be next to...All in all, I feel for the price, I would have opted for a hotel

Pros and Cons

Pros:This house was convenient to vineyards and does have a small back yard that was fine for our needs. Cons: Carpet needs cleaning, table in back is missing a top. Biggest issue was the heat. Temperature was in the upper 80s and there is no A/C. House was unbearably hot in the afternoons and evening especially upstairs where bedrooms are located. Vacasa was not helpful.

Beware of the 3 Bed 3 Bath Claim

Not a fan. The 3rd bedroom was a fold out couch, it had 2 1/2 baths, not 3, the AC did not work, the TV was only able to receive 1 channel (even after the tech came), the furnishings are garage sale esque, the curtains are old and not functioning, no coffee, small grade school toilets, etc...
