That said, the property itself no longer quite matches the charm shown in the photos online. The exterior has seen better days, and while the house appears clean on the surface, it could benefit from more thorough maintenance.One issue we noticed was the tap water—it had a slight brown tint and contained some small particles. The kitchen and basic amenities are quite worn, and even a sharp knife is missing, making it difficult to prepare meals.Of the two bathrooms, only one was really suitable for a proper shower, with signs of wear visible throughout the property.On the bright side, the beds were comfortable, the air conditioning worked well, and the three-bed room was spacious. The pool, while a bit aged, was clean and operational.The owner, José, is responsive and makes a commendable effort to assist remotely. The on-site caretaker, though friendly, is limited by language barriers and the overall condition of the property—helpfulness and smiling hospitality alone cannot mask the deeper structural short comings.In short, if you're mainly looking for a place to sleep in a beautiful setting and have access to a pool, this spot may do the trick. But if you're hoping for comfort and a well-maintained property, it may fall short for the current price. With investment and care, this could be a fantastic place once again.
