Hotel is close to bus station which was super convenient for us. Hotel is on its own and feels just a short walk outside of town but still close enough. Some aspects of hotel were great and others felt old. The staff was great and helpful in giving recomendations. Borrowed an umbrella from reception which was nice. Familly run hotel it appears. Given 1 water bottle upon check in and that’s it otherwise have to purchase more from reception, was not provided one each day and can’t drink the water from the tap. Shower configuration was odd and water got everywhere as no glass in front. Had to pay 6euro tax at check out.

This hotel is in a great spot, the rooms are clean, and the pool is nice, but the rooms are a bit weird. The bathroom is right by the door, and the bed is up on a second level with low, arched ceilings that are a bit dangerous.

The Astir Thira Hotel was just on the outskirts of town. This was nice because it made for easier access in and out of town. It was a very short 3-5 minute walk. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We arrived before check-in and our room was ready for us which made it very convenient for us. The room was pleasantly clean and we had a nice view of the ocean off of our balcony. The only downside was that the main street separated the hotel from the balcony which made the room a little noisy during the day and early night. Later on at night it was relatively quiet. The room was somewhat small but this seems to be a theme when traveling in Greece. There was only a small hanging area for clothing and nowhere to put your luggage or other clothing. The bathroom area had no shelving for your toiletries and only two hooks for your towels. They would do themselves a favor if they installed more shelving in the bathroom and bedroom and hooks on the backside of the bathroom door. They also need a do not disturb sign for the rooms. The pool and surrounding area was very well maintained. Breakfast was included and was good. Staff was very friendly and always had a warm greeting. For the ladies who like to pack a hairdryer, there is no need to pack one if you stay here. My wife said the hairdryer they have is the absolute best she has ever used and is nothing short of amazing. We would easily stay here again.

O hotel é ótimo. Fica muito perto de Thira (5 minutos a pé), mas não fica no meio da bagunça, então achamos isso muito bom. O quarto que ficamos foi recentemente reformado. Banheiro moderno e chuveiro quentinho. A funcionária da recepção foi muito solícita e simpática e nos ajudou a organizar um passeio de barco, foi muito atenciosa com todas as nossas dúvidas. O café da manhã é ok, mas não achei maravilhoso. É das 8h às 10h, mas um dia chegamos às 9h30 e já não tinha mais nada, isso foi chato. Então recomendo que chegue às 9h no máximo para tomar café da manhã. Mesmo assim, eu com certeza recomendaria o hotel!

Et lille og hyggeligt hotel. Et roligt og indbydende poolområde. Lige uden for byens larm men i gåafstand til byen og supermarked. Ikke noget stort og fancy, men et dejligt familiedrevet hotel fyldt af søde og imødekommende mennesker. Her skal vi bo når/hvis vi kommer tilbage til Santorini
