These are essentially serviced small apartments. If you like the buzz and facilities of a hotel it won’t be for you but if you like peace, quiet and your own space, it’s good. The hotel is family run and the family live on site. It is clean and quiet and the family work hard to maintain and run the hotel.
Overall, lots of plus points - our room was spacious and clean, the kitchen was very handy to prepare lunch and and the location 2/3 mins from Kamari Beach is fantastic. Kamari beach is lovely and there are so many nice restaurants along the promenade. There’s a gorgeous bakery up the road and several mini markets for other supplies. The pool is good and quiet- sunbeds are nearly always available and we often had the pool to ourselves, even in August!
Downsides are the shower curtain was about an inch too short, so water leaked onto the bathroom floor no matter how careful we were. We could also have done with a sharp knife in the kitchenette - it was hard to prep any sort of food without. Lastly, the safe was broken. We managed, but it does feel a bit unnerving to have to leave passports etc unsecured.
Santorini is lovely - we’d recommend exploring Fira and Oia but early in the morning and checking cruise ship timetable for crowds😊 Overall though this hotel is a good find and we would recommend it to friends and family.
