Péssimo hotel. Philip é o único responsável pela recepção, que muitas vezes está fechado. Na nossa reserva era um quarto com varanda. Ele nos colocou num cubículo nos fundos do hotel e prometeu mudar pra um maior no outro dia. Mudou, realmente, pra outro quarto horrível nos fundos do hotel. Pra chegar no hotel tem uma ladeira ingrime. Enfim, não recomendo. Existem outros hotéis melhores em Fira.

One of the best hotels I have ever stayed

I arrived at 8am but Philip kindly allowed me to enter the room. He also offered me a free late check out because of my ferry schedule. Probably it depends on the room availability but he always makes efforts how you feel comfortable during your stay. The room is spacious having a lovely balcony with a table and chairs facing the sea. The room has a refrigerator and a safety box. Only one unfortunate thing is the location. It is not far from the city centre (only a 15-minute walk from the central bus station) but I felt scary when I was walking from the centre to the hotel in the dark. However it is not the hotel's fault and there is no problem if you stay with friends or family. Fira Blue Horizon was one of the best hotels I have ever stayed.

Struttura a 10 minuti a piedi da fira

L’albergo a mio parere è ben lontano dal rispecchiare i canoni 3 stelle. Sembra ancora in costruzione ed è molto spoglio. D’altro canto la posizione è piuttosto comoda, c’è un parcheggio per mettere la macchina (ho visto alberghi carini a Fira anche + centrali ma stavano senza parcheggio). La stanza aveva letto (matrimoniale mini) bagno aria condizionata 2 comodini un armadio e un mobile specchio le condizioni sembravano abbastanza usate e davano come l’impressione di essere stati messi un po’ a caso. Il bar dell’alberg Non ha praticamente nulla, chiedono 5 euro per la colazione ma conviene farla fuori perché non offrono nulla di chè.. che dire, forse lo risceglierei solo per la comodità del parcheggio e il prezzo ma NON chiamatela struttura a 3 stelle.

In the heart of Santorini at the best price

I decided to share my experience, because it is very different from most reviews I read. I really enjoyed my stay at Blue Horizon. I loved the style of the rooms and the traditional balcony. I had the room on the last floor, so probably had the best view, partially of the sea and partially of the traditional houses climbing up the cliff. The room was very spacious and clean, serviced every day . The staff was very friendly, everyone was smiling and greeting. The guy at the reception (Phillip I think) was very helpful. The hotel has a big parking, which is very good as most of people like renting bikes to go to the beaches. Otherwise parking is a problem in Fira. To go to the main restaurants took me usually arpund 10 minutes (not 20 like many people say, probably depends where you go). In my opinion, although the hotel is not located exactly where the most popular places are, it is well compensated by the price we paid. The hotels on the top are very expensive. The hotel will be the best choice for those who don't mind to walk and is looking to travel around the island, staying at the heart of Santorini. I'm also happy to share some pictures)))

Un cauchemar! A fuir au plus vite!

Quelle déception...Cet hôtel éloigné du centre de Fira ne mérite pas son nom. En effet, les travaux ne sont pas terminés et laissent des fils électriques pendre dans la chambre et dans la salle bain! La télévision cathodique de moins de 15 pouces n'a jamais fonctionné! La literie nous a meurtri le dos(ressorts) et donc sommeil de très mauvaise qualité. Les prestations réservées (petits-déjeuners)n'ont jamais été honorées! Il a fallu prendre ceux-ci en ville. Pas d'eau chaude pendant 2 jours. J'ai demandé à rencontrer le Directeur de l'Hôtel en vain!(pas de réception). C'est la première fois en 20 ans de voyages que je rencontre des désagréments à répétition... Un cauchemar...vous dis-je!!!

This is a joke not a hotel

Dirty, reception didn't care. We arrived and had to wait for someone to show up 10 min later. They informed us that it costs 7 euro to use AC... the breakfast, which you have to make yourself was a toast and coffee for 8 euro. This place is a joke!

abbiamo soggiornato in questo hotel per una settimana e noi tutti, cinque amici, l' abbiamo trovato confortevole e in una buona posizione. Fira dista 10 minuti a piedi percorrendo le caratteristiche vie del centro e la struttura offre un ampio parcheggio per auto o moto, indispensabili per una vacanza a Santorini. Panos, il gestore, è una persona gentile e disponibile. le stanze sono ampie e offrono un' ottima vista.

The description of the room stated that air conditioning was included, we had to pay on the spot 7 euros a night extra to have the air conditioning control to activate the a/c. No where on the page when booking did it specify a/c was extra per night. the room was bare and not hospitable at all. the shower had no curtain and gas lines exposed throughout the room. The only positive was that the wifi was good. I would only recommend this place if its just to leave your luggage bag that's about it,

Okay location

This hotel is about 15-20 minute walk uphill towards the main city area of Fira. If you want a clean hotel that you won't spend muc time in then this is it. There is a $7 charge for AC per night. We were not in the hotel much so it didn't matter. The room furniture is old so don't expect anything fancy. It is clean but the bathroom is older. It was all we needed for our stay because we didn't spend any time in the hotel.

Terrible Hotel

The hotel was double booked. They offered us a small windowless room with no A / C and electricity. We refused. After that, they offered us another mold smelling room from an adjacent creepy house that was not a hotel. We also refused to do so. They also offered another hotel 12 km away. The staff was very lazy and unskilled. Eventually we surrendered and looked for another hotel, which was difficult because the hotels were quite full. One holiday day went completely wasted. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone! Stay away!

Under Construction

This may be a nice hotel once all construction is finished. Potential hazards that may cause an accidents, e.g,. expecting clients to use temporary steps and wood planks to carry the luggage to the rooms. It is also rather far from the Fira centre to walk uphill.
