We had a lovely stay at Kokkinos villas, the views were breathtaking, the hotel room was amazing, breakfast had many options and was plentiful. They had the most accommodating staff as well, we were a bit early but they were able to help us check in a little earlier and call our rental company where we booked our ATV’s so we can explore Akrotiri while we waited. We had a wonderful stay and recommend this spot for couples, honeymooners or if you want a peaceful stay in Santorini 💕

The room was spacious and new, the bathroom is clean and huge. The view of the caldera is spectacular. So nice to wake up watching the sunrise. The staffs are so great. Very friendly. Aris, from the front desk was great. He recommended the boat tour and it was good. We are glad with his recommendations. Breakfast is how you like it. I will definitely stayed again.

We had a wonderful stay. Everything was perfect and the arrangement of our transfers to/from the ferry and airport were appreciated. We also enjoyed the daily breakfast. It was our first time to Santorini and we were very pleased to learn that we picked the best area of the island to stay. Quiet and peaceful, yet conveniently located to everything and an amazing view.

Relaxing place on the busy island

First of all great thank you to the whole team! Most of reviews mention the view as the best feature of the place. I would like to say that without all the people taking care of guests, being always very kind, communicative and doing best to make your stay as comfortable as possible, the view would not count. Our early arrival was served very kindly and well, additional requests were satisfied at good price and with excellent support. With all of that indeed the view is spectacular, place is quiet, within walking distance to mini market, a local cafe, restaurants of Akrotiri. The bus stop is right next to the hotel. We enjoyed being there.

Good hotel with a great view

Good hotel with a great view, rooms are comfortable but could do with a bit of attention in places (curtain missing a few hooks, bathroom tiles a tiny bit mouldy). Breakfast was good, you fill in a form of what you want rather than a buffet and hand this in before you eat. Works well and imagine cuts down on a lot of waste compared to a buffet. Pool is nice if a bit small, but the view is amazing.

Per ki nn può permettersi il lusso di un resort superchic arroccato sulle stupefacenti scogliere di Oia, Imerovigli, Fira e Firostefani con vista sul paradiso, kokkinos offre un'alternativa con il suo meraviglioso panorama. Se nn ti capitano vicini molesti, la quiete, il silenzio, la pace sono garantiti. Poiché fuori mano rispetto ai centri di maggior interesse appena citati per tramonti romantici e movida, tocca attrezzarsi con un mezzo e non certamente un 50 cc o un lentissimo quad. Fira è raggiungibile di sera in moto, Oia piuttosto lontana e cmq bisogna attrezzarsi con giubbottini per via del vento e dall'umidità serali. A kokkinos la colazione è essenziale, quasi scarna. Il taxi richiesto per telefono e via mail per il transfer dall'aeroporto all'hotel non c'era! Erano le 00.37 quando abbiamo preso l'ultimo taxi rimasto in aeroporto risparmiando pure sul prezzo concordato con l'albergatore. L'hotel è stato recentemente ristrutturato e si vede, le stanze pulite. Sconsigliato a ki ha disabilita' fisiche ma in realtà lo è tutta l'isola. Alle donne sconsiglio l'uso dei tacchi o vi ritroverete a camminare scalze come ho visto fare a molte. In definitiva è stato un soggiorno positivo. L'elemento chiave di kokkinos è la vista sulla caldera. Cordiali e disponibili i dipendenti. Santorini:unica al mondo!

We were astonished by the seaview right in front of our room. The hotel might be far away from the city centres of Fira and Oia but it is perfect for those looking for some tranquility.

My wife and I visited these wonderful villas and we can't speak highly enough of them! Location: Don't be put off that it's not directly in Oai--read the reviews and you'll find many people complain about the loud noise from the busyness and congestion of people. Kokkinos Villas is very quiet. You can catch the pubic bus for just over 2 Euro, a short trip; the island is no that big (compared to Australia!) The bus station is directly opposite the Villas and a mini-market and luxury restaurant (Edge) less than 100m walking distance. It is literally located at Caldera beach. Amenities: Rooms are modern and spacious. We chose the cheaper ones without the private pool on our balcony and opted for the larger hotel pool. The air conditionig is really good! The large bed is placed facing the balcony and when you open the window shutters built into the door, you get a stunning view of the Mediterranean with the smaller islands to make the scenery breathtaking. Every day is incrediible here! Service: Rooms are serviced daily and you even get a large bottle of water daiily--handy! Staff are very friendly and bend over backwards to help you. Breakfast: You get to choose your breakfast everyday (e.g. eggs can be omelette, scrambled, fried orr boiled) and there's a very large choice. Drink as many cappuchinos as you want. We have to leave super early tomorrow morning and the staff have offered to pack us a breakfast to take with us tomorrow to eat at the airport....amazing.
