Such a wonderful stay! The host was very helpful and excellent communication. The accommodation was exceptional and very comfortable for a couple or 2-3 persons. The rooftop lounge and hot tub is a bonus with beautiful views over Fira. Highly recommended

Hmmm...they are nice apartments no doubt but a bit pricey in my view.If everything worked then we would have had a better experience however we had no wifi for nearly all the stay despite reporting it on the first day(not good with 2 teenage kids).The water packed up on the last night so we were unable to wash etc on last day-it was reported but no-one came so we travelled home a bit unclean ! its only fair to say we got a late checkout on the last day but a dry one...

Nuestra estadía en Olive Cave fue muy buena …la comunicación era siempre rápida ,nos ofreció un trasporte al aeropuerto muy bueno , puntual , a muy pocos metros del apartamento empieza la zona peatonal de Fira y de ahí unos 5 a 10 min a la zona más importante del centro , pudimos dejar las maletas ahí en el check out sin problema , alquilamos un auto que me parece la mejor opción y teníamos parking a pocos metros de la propiedad y sin problemas , lastimosamente nuestro tiempo de 3 noches en Santorini resultó corto para lo que teníamos para disfrutar Volveremos !!

Authentic cave house with excellent host

Perched on a hilltop, this cave house was previously the Fira town bakery and the original oven has been preserved as a feature. Location is just steps away from the old Fira town (which is a haven for dining and shopping), Firostefani and Imerovigli. Enjoyed spectacular views of the caldera at sunset from the private rooftop hot tub. Charming decor, comfortable beds, thoughtful personal touches throughout and a complimentary bottle of wine on arrival. Kitchenette had all the essentials- coffee machine, stove, kettle, no microwave. Amalya was one of the best hosts we’ve encountered so far, always smiling and happy with recommendations on literally everything. She went out of her way to arrange our car rental, make dinner reservations and book the Greek wedding show and was able to secure the best tables at both. She made sure she was there to welcome us and say goodbye. We could not fault Mikaela’s cleaning as everything was spotless. Whilst the climb up the driveway to the cave houses is a little steep it is well worth the effort. We would love to return someday.

I unfortunately had a very bad experience at this property. It was mostly due to the property manager who was not very keen to do his job. The place does not have a reception nor ability to contact someone if needed. Communicating with anyone at this property extremely difficult. So if you need any help, you are on your own....Only interaction I had with the property manager was a very unpleasant experience.... My only advice to any potential future customers is to think twice very carefully before booking this place. I travel around the world quite frequently and use Expedia regularly. You will not see me doing too many reviews as mostly I get what I expected, hence no comments. For this property I wanted to make an exception... good luck!!

Lost is between a 5 star and a BnB.

The location is beautiful, which gives you an entire view of the caldera. The rooms are nicely done giving you the feeling of a traditional Greek style home. Big spacious room and can easily accommodate big families. Well equipped with a smart TV, and good internet connection. Some few basic necessities are there like toaster, hob, vessels to cook in, hit kettle, cutlery, sugar,coffee, tea, salt pepper, a fridge. A few things that need to be looked into. 1. There is no reception, and hence you are not sure if u will get any staff to help you at any odd time. 2. The climb to the hotel is a bit steep, hence be aware and prepared with the amount of baggage you carry, cause likely you won't find staff and hence no help 3. There is no room service, or reception, its all about self service. So be prepared to do things on your own, including lighting up the common area, or making your drinks and food or just chilling. 4. Housekeeping is apparently done only 1 in 2 days. So keep the room tidy. 5. There is a terrace and hot tubs, but it's all about self service. No getting pampered with a drinks or food menu or anyone even getting anything to up there or in the tub. All in all 2.5 out of 5 stars

We just left after staying here on our honeymoon. Christos the owner was very nice, he greeted us on arrival and gave us lots of good recommendations and was all around very accommodating. We asked him to book an ATV for us one evening and it was there for us in the morning at a price cheaper than listed. The room was beautiful and the bed very comfortable. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Beautiful room, as pictured. Kristos met us and allowed us to check in early (we arrived around 11am). The room was gorgeous, the roof top deck was nice, coffee and water were ready and provided. I had read some reviews that this hotel was further from the center of town, but I actually loved the location. It’s kind of in the middle between Fira and Firastefani. Firastefani is much calmer with less tourists (hint: it’s also where you canget the postcard shots of the church with three bells and the boat on a rooftop). Either direction from the hotel, a short 7-8 minute walk gets you to either town. It was also convenient to walk to Fira to catch the local bus to Oia for a day.

Awesome room! Situated not far from all the good stuffs, but far enough so that we are not bothered by the noise of party goers! WiFi is good. TV is pretty much Greek TV. So unless you know Greek, better to use the Internet to watch your shows! Santorini is humid. So I advise any renters to make sure the dehumidifier machines are always working! There is one in the main room and the bedroom. Keep the power going and make sure twice per day to empty out the water inside. This will make the house very comfortable. The sofa is a pull-out bed. We did not use it like that but it can be a useful addition when you have friends over! Overall, my wife and I were very happy with this house! Recommended!

Cozy house with everything needed

20mins walk to Fira town , close to the church of st.john . The host Vera is very nice and helping us wz the transfer no matter from airport and to the port. Enjoy the jacuzzi time at night after a long day walk . Need to walk a bit uphill to the house , but wz quite environment

Beautiful home with spectacular views

Walking distance into town, but at the top of the hill! The views from this house were amazing and the rooftop terrace was lovely. The house was clean and nice, and host was very responsive.

Great Location!

We loved our stay here. The location is perfect for easily walking to Fira. Turn left and you can get to Fira in 5 minutes. Turn right and you can hike all the way to Oia if you'd like [we actually did]. The place was very nice and cleaned daily. We had access to the deck with our own hot tub and view. Amalia was there to greet us, give us tips for our stay, and recommend contacts for a boating excursion. We loved it. Highly recommend! Thank you Amalia!

Wonderful place to stay in Santorini!

Absolutely lovely. Charming decor in the rooms, maid service, and excellent location just minutes away from all the shops and restaurants. Especially liked the jacuzzi and patio on the roof with amazing views of the caldera!

Nice place to stay in Fira. The Gold room has accupancy for 6 and the management is very strict about it and won't allow extra Pearson so if suddenly one of your friends decided to join you there it willl cause issue. Even for 6 person the place is a little small and the sofa bed in the living room is too smalll for two person to sleep on. It's a perfect place for 5 people and since it used to be the bakery for the area it adds some charm to it.

Beautiful house in an ideal location

Olive Cave House Silver is a beautifully furnished house in a private location between Fira and Firostefani. The rooms are clean, comfortable and elegant. There is a spacious terrace with privacy and amazing views of Fira and a partial caldera view. The housekeeping service is excellent. Amalia is a wonderful host, who is genuine and always willing to help. I would highly recommend this house for your stay in Santorini!
