Beautiful room suit young people

Good side - room is spacious, nicely decorated and the view on the balcony is fantastic. Breakfast is generous and fresh. Downside - different from the description on the website, parking is quite a long way from the hotel. In addition, there are lots of stairs from the drop-off (bottom of the bay) to our room (on the cliff) with lots of narrow steps. You need to be very strong. In addition, room cleaning is upon request only. Nicolas is very helpful.

Very pretty little suite. Clean. Great breakfast in the morning. Sabi was very attentive. Keep in mind that in order to go to Oia, there are 250 steps to climb, every time. If you’re ok with that. This is a beautiful location.

We loved staying in amoudi bay, the restaurants around, the sunset view and going to the rocky swim spot was all awesome. Going up and down the stairs for Oia though is a pretty hassle even if you are young though.

Our host Chris gave us a good walkthrough, along with some historical information about Ammoudi Bay. He was an inobtrusive host, but always available when needed. Our housekeeper each day was polite and efficient. Our cave room, with lounge, dual bathroom and kitchette was perfect. The rooftop plunge pool was a great touch for watching the famous Oia sunsets. Oia and Ammoudi Bay are not cheap places to eat, so be mindful that if the 4 restaurants down on the waterfront start hitting the hip pocket, youll need to venture up the hill. I wouldnt recommend a family or kids, its an adult location. All in all, very happy with our experience.

We stayed here in May 2025. The staff was amazing, very helpful and accommodating to our needs. The breakfast was great. And of course the views were stunning! This place is unlike any place we have stayed before! Lots of stairs to get to our stay but other than that there is not one negative things I can say about the place.

I did have a several challenges with the booking and with communication to meet someone to find this place, and with someone dropping the ball on not including the baby cot that was requested at booking. This all seems to have been the fault of the management office. However, I felt compelled to leave a review for Nikos, our concierge/contact during our stay. He completely blew us away with the beyond 5-star service he provided. He bent over backwards and more (metaphorically speaking) to not only correct the mistakes of the management office (including spending hours of his time at 11pm driving across the island to get a baby cot for us), but also solve every other problem we had. However highly I speak of him, he deserves higher praise still, and he made our stay truly memorable and remarkable. We've never experienced service coming anywhere close to as good as what Nikos provided. Would very much love to stay here again if he were to still be the concierge. The room was also very nice and clean, and we liked that the hot (warm) tub was much more private than many on the island.

My husband and I were so excited for our honeymoon we booked a room with a sauna and tub. Unfortunately when we got there they didn’t give us our room, no explanation and no refund. The staff working there everyday was really nice and helpful. However we had some complaints, the towels smell like pee. The drain was super clogged so you would be standing in a pool of water while showering. The views were great. Some of the other rooms looked nicer. I wish they would have put us in our original room we booked as it had more amenities. Chris was hard to reach and again he did not offer any refunds, especially since we left the last few days to go elsewhere. Nor upon research does it say Santorini closes after Nov 1st. We booked this location because Dimitris (restaurant ) was in the bay as well. So we intended to get meals down there as it was highly recommended. The donkeys that were advertised are also not there after Nov 1st. So get ready to walk up 300 steep stairs a day.

We enjoyed our stay here. The room was very large, clean and just as pictured. The breakfast every morning was great and loved that it was delivered to your window. The check in process and accessing the property was a little confusing. However the owner was able to contact us and support immediately.

Upon arrival to Oia, Nikos from Secret Gem, met us and guided us to our room. He was extremely friendly and helpful throughout our entire stay. Every morning we woke up to our breakfast basket at our window and they were delicious. He gave us many pointers on how to navigate and tour the island, which helped us bypass all the busy tourism/cruisers traffic. We had an amazing time! Thank you for making our visit special!

The propertyinside is very nice and clean. It is in a beautful cove at the bottom of the very steep hillside. The issue is it is very inconvient. The hill you have to walk down is crazy dangerouly steep. You have to walk around the donkey poop and there are about 15 donkeys to deal with. It smells in the morning. If you want a taxi it cost approx 20 Eur, if you can find the taxi willing to take you. This is only a fifteen minute walk but very steep. It is very inconvient. It would be nice if they offered transportaion.The hotel gives you a bottle of water that is filled with tap water. I would not ever book this hotel. Find one closer to the top where all the shopping and pictures are. Oh yeah the Jacuzzi is about 90 deg F. Too cold for me.
