Great Cabin Stay!

We loved staying at this cabin. It was a great location, near everything we want to go to, and the cabin itself was set up beautifully. We had everything we wanted and more.

Hidden Dunes cabin

We stayed in Hidden Dunes several times over the past 20 years or so, although not in this particular cabin. Hidden Dunes is convenient, well maintained, and has a private beach on Goshorn Lake. We like this neighborhood a lot.

Very relaxing cabin and was Quiet and Peaceful

Great cabin! We didnt get to enjoy the cabin as much as we wanted in our cple night stay but definately enjoyed all the amenities it had. Hot tub worked great and the arcades and pool tables were a great add to cabin. Thanks for having us! wThabjsusyoubsonkic

Great getaway

Great cabin in a convenient location to dune rides, Saugatuck/Douglas, Oval Beach, and Holland. We loved the quiet neighborhood and the cozy cabin. Great local food also. We plan on making a return trip!

Great Family Vacation Spot

The cabin was great. Nicely furnished and decorated. The kitchen was fully stocked and the hot tub and finished basement were a nice extra. There is a very short walk to Goshorn Lake which is perfect for floating. Short drive to Oval Beach and Saugatuck Dunes State Park. Great area, great cabin, we will be back.

Excellent Holiday Weekend

Very clean house. Great amenities in kitchen. Fun basement with pool table, board games, and arcade games. Hot tub in great shape. Kids loved jumping in the lake. Wonderful hidden gem!

Great Girls Getaway!

Perfect space for our annual Girls Trip. Short distance to fun destinations and wonderful activities, made everything so simple! Four bedrooms allowed us to spread out, and the ample living room combined with the dining space to provide plenty of room for games, dining, puzzles, movies, and more. Nice game space downstairs. Screens on front door and back patio need attention, so we kept door closed for the most part. But otherwise, it is a great space and location!

Lovely long weekend.

Our family spent a long weekend in this Saugatuck cabin. It had everything we needed, plus a hot tub. The beds were comfy, the kitchen was well stocked with dishware etc, the basement with pool table and games was excellent. We biked to Saugatuck and out to the dunes/lake right from the front door.

Beautiful Cabin

Lovely cabin loaded with everything you could possibly need to have a great weekend getaway or whole week vacation. Beautiful Goshorn Lake within steps from the cabin. Dune rides right up the street and of course near Saugatuck and Holland for shopping, dining, pubs etc. Gorgeous Lake Michigan at your door also!

Relaxing

Loved the charming cabin! Location was perfect and the lake relaxing. The cabin, being in a highly treed area, was dark and relaxing. Only problem we faced was a good enough light to apply makeup. A lighted makeup mirror would make the cabin perfect!

Winter Family Getaway and Birthday

We have been staying at this cabin for years now. We love it! Love the log cabin, fireplace and hot tub. We celebrate our grandsons birthday there every year. We love the Saugatuck area. We have been lucky to have snow every time we come so we can sled. Love how accommodating Elisabeth is, very easy to work with. Highly recommend her cabin.

Beautiful cabin , well equipped for Family fub

Great place to spend time with family. As spoken about in other reviews, lots to do in cabin, would’ve loved a rocker on porch, but porch is hidden with scrubs. Last carpet in lower leave needed a good vacuum. Well worth the price.Thank you for sharing your beautiful home!

Our quick family vacation

We enjoyed our stay here. The cabin was exactly as described. Well stocked, Roomy, Perfect location, isolated and quiet but a short drive to Saugatuck and surrounding towns. The hot tub was nice after a day of walking around town. The basement was a big hit with our kids, from the pool table and board games, to the arcade style games. Only drawback, and it is minor, with the open stairs it can get a little noisy on the first floor when the kids are downstairs. All in all we would definitly stay here again.

Pleasant New Year's Stay

This is our second year staying at this cabin for New Year's. Overall the stay was enjoyable, just as good as the previous year. One major thing that put a damper on the experience was the constant scritching of a mouse in the walls/ceiling of one of the upstairs bedrooms, disturbing the sleep of the occupants. I recommend contacting someone to check for an infestation. Otherwise very positive, may return again.

Just perfect!

This place was fantastic! The location is perfect! The cabin in a more wooded location, but just a few minutes to downtown Saugatuck to enjoy shopping, going to Oval Beach or a dinner out! The cabin is beautiful, spacious and well maintained. We had a wonderful family vacation, relaxing, swimming, eating on the screen porch, playing pool and video games in basement and enjoying the hot tub after a long day. The owner was very helpful with any questions as well. There are many nearby activities including fishing on Goshorn Lake, dune rides, and shopping. We would definately recommend this property to others and hope to stay there again!

Don't tell anyone...

This has got to be the best lake in Michigan and the best location in Saugatuck. The log cabin is amazing and the owners are responsive. The place, like any place, can use brush ups (the sliding door sticks, the shower door is uneven, the grill seems original to the Singapore Loggers who used it in the 1800s) but when the only things you can cite as issues are tiny, your overall enjoyment is amplified, as ours was. Can't wait for next year!

The house was everything you’d want for a single family, a bit noisy for multiple families with kids. The ac was great for the basement and main floor but really warm upstairs where the 3 bedrooms were located; each room had a box fan (they were needed in the heat wave!). I’d stay again with my family for sure as everything else was as expected. The community was friendly and quiet.

Winter getaway

This is our second time staying, first time with family. Great place to stay for a family! Couple thing that would help, needs a metal buckets to put fireplaces ashes in. The fireplace was not cleaned out when we arrived and we didn’t have anyplace to put the ashes. They were cold, so we we used a plastic bag. We did this all weekend. It snowed all weekend and we had ice and there was an empty container of ice melt. Really could have used it because the roof dripped on the steps and sidewalk and refroze. Made it dangerous. The bed downstairs could use a new mattress, my daughter and son in law stayed there and the said all you felt was springs. They did not enjoy sleeping on it. The property managers did not turn up the hot tub. I called and spoke with the owner and all it needed was turned up. By the evening it was usable. We celebrated a birthday while there and had a great time. We’ll return again, hope next time these issues have been addressed.
