Older property but they’re working on doing some renovations it looked like. You can’t beat the location for proximity to Soo Locks and the restaurants and shops. The parking lot is really nice too. We’d stay here again.

Clean and quiet property in an older building next to the Soo museum and locks. Highly recommend. Good lobby with refreshments and friendly staff. Not all rooms have good views so be sure to request.

Hotel is a little dated, but they are doing some renovations (Fall 2026) that will probably help. Our room was clean and had a nice view of the park next to the soo locks. The location of the hotel is great, with many restaurants and bars nearby you can walk to. The staff was friendly but were not terribly engaging (We asked about restaurants in the area and their response was ‘they are all okay.’).

We had a wonderful stay, great vacation time, the room was lovely, even the weather was good. The parking area was great for us. In the greater Saulte Saint Marie area is a great steak house called Choice Cuts, we recommend highly for a higher scale eating out experience. Thank you Hotel Ojibway for your hospitality.

Bathroom door squeaked very loudly, so when using at night it woke up my wife. Bed was very hard and uncomfortable. The breakfast was meager. We had friends that stayed at a Super 8 and their continental breakfast had hot eggs, toast, waffles and more. We had cold muffins and yogurt. Coffee was hot and fresh though.
