The room and facilities, the house and it's ground, the location and the lovely breakfast meant we had a great overnight stay. In a pretty little town which had a number of restaurants to eat in, within easy walking distance."

On arrival having again paid for parking, we went into the apartment and found the bedroom with unmade dirty sheets and dirty towels in the bathroom. We phoned the hotel who said we could have an upgrade. We eventually found the apartmend due to diversions. The gentleman who met us said he had checked the apartment and it was clean. "This was a delightful little country hotel with gorgeous rooms and a good restaurant immediately below. The suite of rooms (4 were included in my booking) were beautifully furnished and great value for money. The beds were comfortable and the setting was peaceful. Would thoroughly recommend!"

"Stayed for one night on journey heading South. Clean and comfortable hotel room. Evening meal was very good but with a limited menu, especially for vegetarian friends we were with. Good position with plenty of parking and small garden. Our dog enjoyed the stay as well ! Have also booked for our return journey."
