「We loved being a little outside of the main resort area (a very short drive). Still plenty of restaurants and shopping. The hosts were very friendly and willing to help with all our needs. 「This place was a home away from home. Simple and quaint!! Marie and John were wonderful host. They shared local favorites for restaurants and beaches. Told us where to snorkel with turtles and what were things we had to do while there. We suggest you rent a car as you are away from the tourist area but that is exactly what we wanted. 「It was a nice hidden affordable gem just steps from the beach! the property was well maintained and the best part was it was close to a local bar (recommend getting the small chicharrones) a breakfast place right behind and a market 2 minutes away walking, Eagle beach is only 15 mins away by car.11/10 would stay here again. Highly recommend if you are looking for basic amenities and want to get away from the touristy area. Local are very nice.」

「The view from our second floor balcony could not have been better. Apartment was immaculately clean and very comfortable. It was the perfect size for two people. The area was reasonably quiet. 「This is a wonderful place to stay and the hosts so gracious. We have booked here 4-5 times and is directly on Mango Halto beach. There is a near by party store and food truck. Both San Nicholas and the resort area are near by, you will need a car and driving is easy. We particularly enjoy a more local feel and is quieter and less busy than the resort area. If you like to explore on your own, find local food, grill, fish, snorkel right out front, this place is for you don't hesitate.」
