This is a nice hotel and right in the heart of historic Savannah. The staff were very nice and helpful. The one downside was having to pay to park there. It is not included in the price Expedia gives you.

Parking is right outside your door. Parking lot, sidewalk and stairs were very run down and noisy. Room was surprisingly okay. Bed was clean, bathroom had everything you needed and there was plenty of room. Ice machine worked and room had mini fridge and microwave. USB ports beside the bed came in handy. Best part of the hotel was its location. You can walk to everything. Even had a small continental breakfast available in the morning. The whole exterior needs painting so it is not so scary. Lol. For the money we saved it was well worth it.

Property is convenient to the River Walk which was a main consideration for this trip along with cost. It is on a busy street so there is a lot of traffic noise at night, but I've learned all the properties on this street have the same issue. It is also old and could use some renovations. Lighting in the room was limited to 2 table lamps, a light over the sink and in the bathroom so it was somewhat dark even with the drapes open. Overall this property met my basic needs with a relatively low cost.

You have to pay for parking. Navy at front desk was rude. Place is rundown. Breakfast awful. I booked on recommendations. Don’t know who is giving this place a 10. As it is a dump. Clean and paint the place. Get decent furniture.

Front desk staff was rude. There was a man smoking an illegal substance near the lobby. Stairwell and hallways very dirty. Rooms smelled of urine. Carpets very dirty and frayed. Bathroom sink broken. Did not feel safe. Did not stay, booked another hotel. No refund given.

Extra charge for Parking should be mentioned in the main menu. Deceiving. I arrived at 3pm staff wanted to charge me an extra 25. for early check in. Rooms need updating, outside is in total disrepair.

Helpful, friendly and very accommodating staff. The hotel is in the heart of the historic district just steps away from the vibrant entertainment and shopping area on the river (behind the hotel) and very walkable historic district (in front of hotel) full of restaurants, shops, bars and even a post office. It’s an older property that needs a bit of TLC but is comfortable, clean and in good repair with very comfortable beds and quality, cozy linens.

Exceptional value in the Historic District with perfect location, short walk to EVERYTHING! Exceptional staff w/easy and well-informed check-in and check-out (thanks Selina!). Comfy, clean, large room with Wi-Fi, live TV and everything you need in a room. Well stocked and free continental breakfast (especially the coffee). This is my place to stay in Savannah. Back soon!!! Highly recommended!

The property was in a great location, just a short walk to shops, restaurants, and bars with music. The room was big enough and the bed was comfortable. The problem was the cleanliness. The rug in the room was stained, an outlet did not work, and the countertop was cracked. There was trash in the stairwell and parking lot; the walls of the building were dirty. We will not stay there in the future.

When I arrived at the property it was nothing like the photos online! It was in extremely poor condition on the outside and the parking lot was extremely small. On the way to the front office, I was able to look into one of the rooms and it was disgusting! When I asked the staff member at the front desk if I could cancel my stay, she rudely said “no”

Terrific location in historic district with very easy, short walk to both the riverfront entertainment area, historic homes and squares, and to City Market. Older hotel needs a bit of TLC but fantastic staff - very helpful and friendly.

Best part of the experience was the staff. They were friendly and helpful and above and beyond. The staircases were dirty. The room was passable on cleanliness. They never came to clean our room for 4 nights. Not the management’s fault but the neighborhood was very noisy all weekend. I mean maybe they could done more sound insulation.

The room smelled like stale old cigarette smoke. The carpets were terribly stained. The bathroom was not thoroughly clean. The ac was set to 60 and never even got close. The beds and linens were ok. I would not recommend this hotel, even as a budget friendly option.

The pictures online are not those of the actual hotel. It is very old and outdated. I could have over looked that; however, to alert the photos is just fraud. The room had an odor of mildew. The front door had a gap down the side large enough to see light from outside. The door also looked unsafe as there was so much damage by the door knob. This is not a hotel, it is an old motel. I left within an hour of checking in and went elsewhere. I had already paid in full. I didn't expect any money back. But to my surprise once I left, I was charged again, almost $300 to my card from the hotel. When I called to question what was going on, hotel staff told me I had to pay a fee for checking out early. And that it was a daily rate for each day. So, I paid in full before I got to the hotel, left, didn't ask for a refund, didn't complain and was charged more. Do not stay here!
