It was spacious & recently updated. There were some scuffs on the walls, minor cosmetic things like that, but overall everything was very clean. It was great having so many amenities included (toiletries, coffee, cleaning products, etc.) & not having to purchase on our own. Noise from the street (if not sleeping in bedroom) & noise from other apartments could be a bit much but I slept just fine after putting in ear plugs. The pull out couch bed is extremely uncomfortable (very little padding over springs), but the couch itself was large enough to be used as a bed for one & very comfortable. I would absolutely stay here in the future again.

Very hard to gain access. Marriott sent me the wrong code and the unit numbers don’t match the numbers they assign. Signage is minimal and it took me 30 minutes to get into my room. 3 other groups had the same issues as me at the same time, on my floor. Thankfully they provided earplugs but it would have been nice to know before I booked that it’s on a VERY loud street. Signage, access and assistance could be a lot better for all guests.

The location of the apartment is terrific. The place was immaculately clean and very well equipped. The only aspect that needs getting used to is that there is no front desk. It is quite anonymous: you punch in the code and get access to the apartment that is spacious and pleasant.

Location was wonderful and suited exactly what we needed for our staycation. And the price was excellent. Accessibility was an issue for us - while there were front and back entrances, codes for the building and our room didn’t work on the first try so building access on arrival was a problem.

I checked in and there were people in my room and no one answered the phone until 11:00 the next day. I stayed at a different hotel and they still refused a refund. All of the codes and safety measures are broken or aren’t used. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!

This is a perfect place if you’re looking for something right in the middle of everything. It was beautiful and clean and I hope it stays that way. After the roadtrip I’ve been on, it was so nice to walk into a place that didn’t make me feel uncomfortable, instead more like home.

Terrible Experience Never Go Back

Our apartment receives a grade of C for spaciousness and a grade of F for comfort and furnishing. The couch was terrible for sitting on—old uncomfortable and missing required cushion. The bathroom had nowhere to put your clean clothes for changing—no shelf or dry clean place. The building is really old and looks like it was barely renovated. There were homeless people hanging out at the front door when you exited. The front door of the building could not be opened most of the time because the security pad was not functioning and the back door (ally) was never locked—no security. The building is 100% not handicap accessible. Will never stay there again.

Front. Door code does not work. Back door code is not needed because it’s unlocked. There are homeless people around so the building is not secure. The sink faucet in the kitchen is extremely loose. The window looks like it’s about to fall out of the window sill. The refrigerator is leaning forward and not very stable. The remote to the tv doesn’t work even after changing the batteries out multiple times.

Don’t stay here

DONT stay at any Sonder location! They are absolutely horrible. I had an emergency and needed to stay somewhere for the night. I made the reservation because it said it was available. I made the reservation around 6pm and didn’t get into my room until around midnight because they are completely remote and took hours to complete my verification and give me access to my room. They stopped communicating with me many times through the chat and no one answered the phone. I had to keep trying and was finally able to get into a room that was more expensive than the one I made a reservation for. They charged me for the upgrade and didn’t even tell me. I don’t understand why it said it was available if their usual process takes days for verification and room access.

Sonder was an excellent property, in a fantastic location to see all sites in Savannah. It was clean, spacious with an excellent kitchen. A free, short bus ride away to a Kroger supermarket.

Spacious and tall ceilings with a full kitchen and dining room. Nice large bathroom. Pretty clean and comfortable but floors need to be replaced, ceiling needs sound insulation, and sofa bed mattress needs a mattress topper to be really usable (not provided).

The room we were originally assigned was dirty when we arrived. We arrived at 630pm and check in was 4pm so no reason for a dirty room. It then took over an hour and being disconnected 3 times to get a new a room. Catherine was the only helpful agent we spoke to who got the matter sorted for us. Our new room was clean and spacious. Then when we went to check out we could not get into the luggage storage and that took two more phone calls. Overall not having someone on property is not helpful. They should also have a place to replenish towels
