Great Stay

Charming apartment in a convenient neighborhood!

Private entrance and lovely accomodations in a delightful neighborhood feet from Forsythe park. Clean, comfortable, and welcoming, and the Lucky Savannah staff was wonderful. We wanted for nothing and will come again.

Spectacular Savannah!

I fell in love with Savannah all because of the location of this stay. It was the absolute PERFECT location. Clean, beautiful and so cozy. I felt safe too. I definitely plan on staying here again!

Spring break / Anniversary

This rental was the perfect size for the two of us, and was in a great location right in the heart of the historic district! It was clean and well furnished with everything we could need. We are already planning a return trip!

Well kept secret

Well kept secret in the heart of the historical section. Very comfortable and clean. Parking right outside. Highly recommended. Don’t miss out on taking a bike tour. We learned so much about Savannah. We will definitely be back!

Nice property

Property was very clean and well maintained. Owner was very communicative throughout entire process. We loved being so close to Forsyth Park. Street parking was no problem. Our only complaint was late night street noise from people walking past windows being loud.

All about location

Excellent property in a great place. The pictures are accurate. You will be a minute from Forsyth park and maybe 20 minutes from the river up Bull St. Fascinating walk either way. If you enjoy ice in a beverage on arrival, think ahead and get some on the way. No ice machine and the closest place we found with ice was CVS by the river. Otherwise will return to this place again.

Anniversary away

I loved this place! Such a great location on Bull street! It is so close to the Forsyth park and a fun safe walk to the River street area through several squares and tree lined streets!! I loved the high ceilings and the “old” feel to the apartment above the store! It had everything we needed! The bed was very firm and the pillows were flat, not a complaint but having a few different pillow and blanket options would be a nice touch!! We also appreciated the soaps and paper goods that were supplied! There was a small cleaning issue that will hopefully be taken care of b4 the next tenant but nothing that would keep me from coming back! I loved the apartment and the location!

Savannah Extended Stay

Reviewer Comments: We were looking for a change of work scenery and the arm weather. Savannah delivered. Our rental was conveniently located in historic Savannah so we were able to walk most places. The rental could use some updates and repairs. It could also benefit from an exterminator as we saw 3 large roaches over the course of our stay.

Perfect pad for a pair

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Pros: Everything is in walking distance. I am not an athlete by any means; but it was true how walkable the city was.Easy access to the rental. There is 2 keypads so you don't have to worry about keeping track of a keyword. Washer and dryer on site. It was nice to do a load of laundry before we left to minimize the after-vacation laundry mountain.Air conditioner. This building had the old time charm with the necessary updates to keep you comfortable.Easy communication. I could not get the code to work on our door when I first arrived. I called and someone answered right away to give me a new code to try. They also followed up by messaging me the new code to be sure I had it.Location. At the very north part of Forsyth Park. We kept busy for 4 days walking everywhere in a 1 mile radius. Cons:The only con I would say is there is a flight of stairs to walk up. This may be a con if this is a physical limitation for you. But it is only 1 flight.

Great location with some small nitpicks

We visited Savannah to see the old homes and historic district, and this location was fantastic. Basically across the street from the Mercer-Williams home as well as Forsyth Park, this was an amazing place to stay and walk through downtown Savannah and explore the many squares and incredible streets. Far enough away from the more touristy areas but still within walking distance of River street, it was a beautiful 15 minute ride to Bonaventure Cemetery when we decided to go. There were so many restaurants that were just a 10-15 minute walk. In addition to the perfect location, the apartment itself was very nice with just a few issues. The kitchen was spacious and well stocked with gadgets. Everything was clean and it's an obviously historic building with tons of character. It was pretty quiet at night and the neighborhood seemed quite safe. My wife wasn't incredibly happy with the bathroom, which had very little space for my wife's things. There was plenty of wall space for shelves and hooks that could potentially be installed but she found it inconvenient to get ready due to having to shuffle things around a lot. It wasn't terrible but definitely something that can be improved. The only other thing that wasn't 5 star was the bed. The mattress - though clean - was well-used and the pillows were pretty flat. We usually bring our own pillows on trips but had forgotten this time and we were pretty sad that we had. It didn't ruin the trip or anything but was the weakest part. Overall we had a great time and were happy with the stay but the mattress/pillows were something to think about. We would stay again but will have to remember our own pillows at the very least. Again, the location is SPECTACULAR and well worth some minor issues.

8+ Inches (of rain) Was So Satisfying and Welcoming

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Corny title aside, we were in town during one of the rainiest weekends on record, but were very thankful for this charming place! The location, in relation to Forsyth, the churches, and shopping/dining was perfect, and the accommodations were adequate in number/type and superb in quality. During times not navigating around town in the rain, we were thankful to have had the washer/dryer and dishes so that we could clean up and snack prior to venturing back out. With tons of natural light and historic charm, the property allows for opportunities to check out the neighborhood while preparing for your next adventure. Our next stay in Savannah will begin with seeking out this property!

Savannah stay

We got in on a Friday evening, parked, unloaded, walked to dinner and drinks, and did not drive again until we left Monday morning. The proximity to Forsyth park as well as River street was perfect. Size was perfect for the two of us. Clean. Bed was comfy. Highly recommend and we will definitely book here for our next trip to Savannah.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The best part of the experience was its central location in the downtown area. The space was furnished and pleasing to the eye. The multiple rooms were great to have (kitchen, living room, bedroom) it felt like a suite. Lots of closet space, hangers for a week’s worth of clothes. The home was stocked well - even had a tea kettle, glasses, cups and plates. Kudos to the maintenance team - they were readily available by phone. My two cautions are to be aware you’ll have to lug suitcases up steep stairs to reach the door. Secondly, the bathtub clogged easily - so quick showers are best.

Reviewer Comments: This Lucky Savannah Rental located next to THE PARK, was perfect, even though there was no available parking...(Go downtown and pick up an on street parking pass!) The descriptive narrative for this "home" is absolutely accurate. Nothing was omitted in this updated totally functional unit! The location is nothing short of wonderful. There is nothing that is not within a walkable distance. The River front is less than 1.5 miles, let alone the 22 "green space" squares all right around the corner.Would I stay again...Absolutely, without a moments hesitation! Thanks for having me...Cheers to the staff who answer the phones and to the staff who hold it ALL together & who make the home so clean!

The high ceilings made the space feel really grand! The location is perfect if you’re looking to be central to everything from downtown to starland district. Being steps away from Forsyth and being in a building with historical charm there is a noticeable amount of noise from the street and rumbles of city living but this seemed to settle by night. This alone wouldn’t deter me from rebooking. It was an overall great accommodation.
