“Staff was excellent”

“This establishment was not even habitable due to cockroach infestation. An exterminator was at the property when we pulled up, and after taking pictures of the cockroaches in our room that the front desk person acknowledged had been an ongoing problem, they refused to allow me to speak with a manager in person or via phone and denied me a refund for the room I couldn’t stay in. After looking at a different room at the request of the front desk person, that room also had cockroaches and black……

“Everything was clean and thr food was fresh and delicious ”

“Arrived late and sign on very dark office door stated office closes at midnight and it was later than that. I assumed (incorrectly) that the phone number on office door was to be used while office was open. Concerned of how it would appear on security cameras that I would be loitering around a motel late at night and not wanting to ring someone’s number at about 1:30am, I chose to call the office in the morning and ask for a refund. Woman who answered said it was my fault I didn’t call the……

“I booked this room last minute after driving all night and being unable to stay at the first hotel I booked due to cockroaches there. I called WYE and they let me check into my room early to shower and sleep. The owners are so kind and helpful, the facility is very clean and well-kept, and I will definitely be staying here again if I’m in the area!”

“Breakfast was good. Staff very friendly and helpful. Stores nearby if you need things you forgot or need. Nice park across the road to sit and relax, Hotel sits near the train tracks, but hardly any noise from the trains. Can get some very nice pictures of the trains if your interested.”

“The property was clean and modern. Would help to have better road signage and road entrance markings. The road side is very loud with trucks using brake retarders early in the morning. Should not be allowed in small towns and rural areas in my view. It is nice to have a clean and well maintained hotel for frequent family visits.”

“I’m so glad we stayed here. It was nothing fancy, but clean and comfortable for a very reasonable price. Starbucks is just on the other side of the intersection for coffee first thing before you hop back on the road.”

“I think breakfast time should be as usual: 6.30am to 9.30am. Or at least it should be reminded at the front desk that after 9am you will not be able to get even a coffee.”
