Would you like to make your stay in Denmark unforgettable, unique, and authentic? Are you looking for a special retreat?
Sæby Watermill is a landmark on the Danish coast. It is the perfect place for your family or friends to enjoy a unique stay in the over 300-year-old watermill. Here you will find all the modern conveniences you need, while experiencing the nostalgia of history. The watermill has been renovated with comfort and relaxation in mind.
On the ground floor, Møllehuset has a fully equipped kitchen with everything you need for cooking and baking. Here you will also find the dining area with a dining table for 6 people and a cozy sofa.
On the first floor is the living room with a fantastic vaulted ceiling with wooden beams dating back to 1710. The beautiful, custom-made sofa, built by our carpenter neighbor, invites you to relax and listen to music or the sound of the rushing river just outside the house. In the living room, you will find the original vintage workbench with a vinyl collection and record player.
From the beautiful garden along the river to the vintage and cozy interior, the watermill is a place you simply must stay! Each room is designed to please your senses and give you the feeling of having traveled through time. The garden is fenced and is the perfect place to feel peaceful, yet still in the middle of the coastal town, in a fantastic neighborhood with convenient access to everything.
Sæby Vandmølle is located by the river, in the historic center of the picturesque 500-year-old coastal town with lots of shops and restaurants. The beach is only a few minutes' walk away via the path along the river, and the forest is only a few minutes' drive from the watermill. Enjoy the uniqueness of staying in the renovated watermill from 1710 and immerse yourself in the peaceful surroundings with the meditative sound of the water.
In summer, you can navigate the river on paddle boards and rent bikes from the local bike shop to explore the coastal area and Sæby's vintage charm.
The price includes bed linen, towels, tea towels, cloths, cleaning, and utilities.
