Beautiful Cottage Nestled in The Old Town

Welcome to our listing for Gabriel’s Cottage which is a ground floor cottage, complete with one off street parking space at the front. The cottage can sleep up to 6 guests, extra person charges apply.

Any additional cars please let us know when booking so that we can provide you with parking permits.

Ground floor

Lounge / Kitchen / Diner / Downstairs toilet : Double sofa bed (+2 guests), two sofas, TV, dining table & chairs, fridge/freezer, ceramic hob with oven, extractor, washing machine & microwave.

Upstairs leads to

Bedroom 1 : Two twin beds which can be made into a double upon request, a small child bed ( 8 years and under) can be made upon request, wardrobe, dressing table & TV

Bedroom 2 : Double bed, wardrobe, drawers & TV

Family Bathroom : Bath with shower head, toilet & washbasin

This cottage is located in Scarborough’s historic Old Town; full of cobbled streets and beautiful buildings. It is directly opposite the recently renovated market hall which has fresh fruit & veg, a top Yorkshire butcher, a bakery as well as a host of other market stalls.

The cottage is ideally located for town (5 minute walk) or to the beautiful South Bay beach (3 minute walk). Scarborough has a host of visitor attractions such as Alpamare indoor pool (10 minute drive), the renowned Open Air Theatre which now hosts big acts (5 minute drive) as well as being within driving distance to Eden Camp, Flamingo Land and other beautiful seaside towns perfect for a day trip.

Located in the old town so walking is so easy either to the castle /beach/shops

Parking : One off street parking space available directly in front of the cottage

Extras : Travel cot & highchair available, free of charge, upon request just bring your own bedding for the cot.

Clean, well presented, courteous host who thought of the little things (like washing up liquid and plenty of extra towels!), good position and handy parking. Only downside was the rubbish WiFi! Hardly a significant problem lol

Lovely little cottage .

When we first arrived we looked around and was pleased however later on the living room TV wouldn't work I spent a while checking switches but no power so ended up taking the dvd player to the main bedroom to watch a dvd the batteries in that TV remote were dead so swapped them with the living room remote a shame we couldn't use the living room TV at all also the smoke alarm was beeping every minute or so all night keeping us awake no way to shut it off I assume the battery in that needed replacing I did message the owner suggested I change TV plug impossible though without a screwdriver and to be honest we couldn't stand the smoke alarm noise,we were left a bottle of prosecco which was lovely would stay again without the issues beds were comfortable and apart from a noisy car alarm outside quiet.the owner has apologised and assured me of everything being sorted out.

The car parking space was a huge bonus. Property really clean and tidy. Had everything we needed for a 2 night stay. We would stay again. Oh and lovely gesture of a welcome drink left in the fridge for our arrival - much appreciated. Thank you.

Great property for adults

Really good directions and information. Lovely property with a good layout of rooms. Rather a lot of dried flower arrangements, statues and ornaments and a glass dining table so slightly stressful with two very young children.

Lovely modern cottage

We really enjoyed our short break here. The cottage is modern, clean and is well equipped. We were met on arrival, given the keys and also a short tour including how to work the heating, etc. Much better than ploughing through booklets! For us this was the perfect location, easy to walk to shops and restaurants and with its own parking space. We would definitely return when lockdown is over,!
