“This was by far the best place we stayed during our 5-day road trip through Switzerland. Everything was spotless, modern, and felt brand new. The location was very convenient — only about 30–40 minutes from Zurich, depending on your destination. Our host was kind, responsive, and very accommodating. We arrived late, but waking up to the beautiful morning scenery made it absolutely worth it!”

“Everything listed was untrue. The property was literally unliveable. It is on mountain top and is broke down house with cat and dog smell and really not livable condition. Stay away. This is scam”

“Staff quickly solved the problem with the soap dispenser. No matter how hard we pressed no soap came out. This was because a hidden lid had not been taken off. Another small matter was that the coffee capsule didn't fit the coffee machine. Also addressed by the staff although we had be without our first coffee after waking up.”

“Sehr bequeme Betten, sind aber zwei einzelne, welche sich leicht voneinander verschieben. Es war grundsätzlich sauber, es wurden zwei Haare im Bad gefunden, aber nicht störend. Einige Fliegen an der Zimmerdecke, aber nicht schlimm, sondern nur optisch. Einfaches ein- und auschecken. Sehr gute Lage, direkt am Bahnhof, in 5 min mit dem Auto in Liechtenstein, und ca 35 min entfernt vom Walensee. Frühstück ist eher klein und wenn man um 9 Uhr (Wochenende) kommt, ist kaum noch etwas da. Nur……

“The most uncomfortable accommodations but inexpensive Appenzell you can’t be picky if you’re on a budget. The room, including the en suite bathroom is no bigger than a standard American bathroom, airless, windowless, and claustrophobic. We did not sleep, no air quality controls. However, the establishment is charming, the breakfast was ample and the staff is ultra kind and the hotel\restaurant is a five minute walk from the train station and superbly located- loved Appenzell and the surrounding……
