"We were up here for a baseball tournament and could not have been happier with this home and the owners. Everything in the home was very nice which made it feel like we were at home. The kids had an amazing time too...there was a lot of area outside for them to play and the game room was great for them too. The owners were very responsive and accommodating. "The house is under going multiple improvements. None of which effect staying in the house. There are window units in every room for a/c. The WIFI available is subpar so working remotely was near impossible and even streaming a show on the living room tv proved to be difficult. Towels and bedding were adequate. We did not use the stovetop or microwave/ toaster oven combo but they seemed in operating order. Only having one bathroom can be difficult but something we were prepared for already. Only...

Lake Front Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"Exceptional location, just a short walk to Baseball Hall of Fame and Main Street activities ad well as beautifully situated at the Lake with a nice restaurant. We had limited contact with staff (which I view as a positive) but interactions were always pleasant. The room was very clean; small as you would expect a motel style room to be, but nice queen size bed with a small sitting area. Bathroom was very clean and bright; my only comment is that with a pedestal style sink, there was no counter space for toiletries, etc. There was a single glass shelf which helped but was still a little fight for space for 2 people. That said, there was space elsewhere in the room to store these things but it created a little disconnect. I will definitely return."

"If you're traveling solo and are the type who prefers to be out and about and needs a room just to have a place to sleep, then this hotel is for you. It's not pretty from the outside, but at 1/3 the price of every other hotel around, it's an excellent deal. You get a clean room and a bed with clean sheets. The floor has a clean carpet. The AC is cold. The shower has hot water with good water pressure. You get a desk with two outlets for your laptop and phone if you need to work. The motel is centrally located and Otenanta is a hip town with good cafés nearby. It even has a YMCA if you need a gym. And you get two complementary cups of coffee in your room. The internet is slow, but that for me is not a problem because I get good data service from a wireless carrier and a wi-fi hotspot from my phone. Cheers."

"This hotel has been renovated since my last visit. Clean and open front desk, well stocked continental breakfast, clean gym - didnt get to use the pool (pool wasn’t finished with renovations yet) Quiet setting, Room was clean, A/C worked great, beautiful clean carpet throughout and it smelled clean as well. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Rates were extremely reasonable. Definitely booking again next time I need a room."
